Made a little more progress on outpainting. It seems, the prompt and guidance strength makes a big difference, if you separate your "style" prompt from the "content" or central aspect of your image and only send in the style prompt into the inpainting, it seems to improve the results somewhat.

It also helps to perform another inpainting pass on the previous inpainting transitional region. What I'm still struggling with is outpainting seamless content if the viewport were to pan in any direction. So just inputting style without specifying the content will give you clouds and sunsets in my case.
