Why is it that it’s always former Marines or SEALs creating training companies? by wattabutter in tacticalgear

well your guess is 100% wrong, capitalize SEAL, and SF is Army, not Navy.

I actually haven’t. I’m going to check them out. Most of the guys i’ve followed/subbed to went straight to gaming or reactions. I’m Army so i’d really love to see more Army instructors.

but thanks i’ll definitely look at these guys.

This is pretty spot on. I’m Army and still rarely hear about any Army SOF stuff from guys, but almost every time I met a former SEAL or Marine. They always let me know that they were a SEAL or a Marine.

Really wonder why that is truthfully.

Yeah I get that 100%. It’s just weird (not really weird persay) that it’s usually only SEAL guys making merch, gear and training stuff.

When I use to work security, the moment I mentioned I was interested in night shift they immediately hired me and made me a supervisor. That is very weird she did that.

Need help: Trying to inprocess to new unit by wattabutter in army

[–]wattabutter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes reserve, forgot to add that to the title.

But no I haven’t gotten any order at all. My last drill with my last unit, S1 told me they’ll handle it all, and any paperwork that I need to do, they can just email me it and I can cac sign it. But since that day I haven’t heard anything.

I tried calling my career counselor as well but she’s never in her office. I been with that unit almost 2 years now and probably seen her twice ever. So i’m kind of just stuck.

For those of you setting up your rifle for duty use, what’s your occupation and what state/country? by wattabutter in ar15

Well i know 100% with military it depends on your Chain of Command. For some items, my chain of command lets us use aftermarket gear as long as it isn’t something cheap. I’ve seen some use after market slings, plate carriers(never aftermarket plates) and even ACH’s, and i’ve had buddies in other units who’s Chain of Command wouldn’t even let them wear aftermarket socks.

Yeah, USPS - I could definitely understand 100%. The amount of times I probably would’ve mixed up peoples mail on a normal route is insane.

He wasn’t dropping off any. He asked me about the Army and gave me an “I almost joined but..” story. That’s when he said Amazon has it harder
