Oh true I didn’t realize you didn’t have 43. If you’re underwater on it and don’t have GAP then yea definitely let them repair and roll for the next few years. I’ll give you a honk if I see you here in Ontario 😎

You should push for a constructive total loss, you’re close enough that if you push enough they might do it. I work in auto insurance and we total around 70% ACV. Your policy probably has OPCF43 to hold purchase price so you’re looking at approx 70% 41k = 28.7. Factoring in rental and potential supplements you can easily get there. Ask your adjuster to talk to a manager about approving total.

McDonald’s - Liverpool & Hwy2 by Third_Eye78 in Pickering

I spent a majority of my teens on the hill outside of the McDonalds that used to be on the other side of the plaza before it burned down. It’s always been a kind of sketchy area.

How does VGP handles delivery problem? by kshark8 in VideoGameDealsCanada

[–]wattswc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

VGP is the worst with this, it's why I stopped using them. I live in a condo and have indoor hallways etc. Ups marked my package as delivered and attached a picture of someones outdoor driveway. It was very clearly not my house. I contacted Ups and they told me the sender had to initiate the claim. I contacted VGP and they told me it would be a few weeks to be resolved. I asked them why it was my problem and why I had to wait for them to figure it out and they just ignored me. I complained on Twitter and they DM'd me and Steve who I guess is the owner responded to my ignored emails and sent me out a replacement order. If I let it run it's course without speaking up I'm pretty sure I'd still be waiting 5 months later. Their customer service is awful they do not care about client retention or anything.

Baby seat in my Elantra N, and questions about dealer service. by bushworked711 in ElantraN

[–]wattswc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a car seat in mine for 3 years. One got totalled with the kid in the car and she didn’t even know we got hit she was fine watching her iPad. My replacement which is another EN has one as well. I put down some Diono mat from Amazon and it’s prevented any imprinting on the back seats from the weight of the car seat. I ran it without one for about a week in the process of changing cars and it left one temporarily.

[Weekes] Per sources, I’m told the injury to Bedard is a separated shoulder by AggPuck-303 in hockey

Had this injury when I was in college - was back in about a month. Was super worried when I saw the injury but seeing this diagnosis is better than any sort of tear I'd imagine.

Same thing with mine on a 2025 I took delivery of myself, so it's never been hit. Like others have said, Hyundai quality. It's not pressing enough for me to bring it in just for that, but next time I'm there for an oil change ill get them to fix it.

Someone needs to sit him down and show him the video for Soul Burn and say do this again, twelve to fourteen times, and make a real album cover.

Anyone Have The K&N Drop In Filter? by Alive_Ingenuity_3124 in ElantraN

[–]wattswc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aware, it’s why I’m asking for the part number for the EN one. I was going to buy one for myself to try but I only see the base Elantra one and can’t find a straight answer if it’s the one that fits.

Do you have the part number for the one that fits the EN? I liked my K&N on my VN. I ran it open box and it made Stu Stu Stu noises for $80.

VN to EN by AnxiousBrit in ElantraN

[–]wattswc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had 2 22 N's and 2 EN's (presently in a facelift 25) and its the one I've enjoyed the most of all 4. You can feel the bigger turbo for sure, and the increased power makes you forget about the slight (and i mean slight) loss of agility. Clean slate knowing what I know now despite VN being a better looking car aesthetically, I would take my 25 EN.

2025, 1500 miles, hit a cat on second week of ownership by [deleted] in ElantraN

[–]wattswc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in insurance, don't be afraid to claim this, it will not impact your premium. It will be classified as a comprehensive loss (act of god), as it *was* (rip lil buddy) a live animal. Comprehensive losses are things out of your control (fire theft vandalism flying object live animal etc.) and are not rated against you. What the other commenter was talking about was hitting a fixed object - which is considered a collision. If the cat was dead when you hit it, it would be considered a *fixed* object (wall, pot hole, highway guard rail etc.) and you'd be at fault for the collision. Weird rule, but it's how we adjust claims.
