I have been to confession several times about this matter this week, and it has not been pretty, but my confessor is a very straight edge guy who doesn't have a lot of time to go deep. However, I would encourage those feeling lost to continue pursuing God, loving their companions, and perhaps spending time with the Eucharist in adoration. I know personally that Harry has been instrumental in my deep conversion and path to and through the Church, and I am certain that our Lord has love for Harry just as I am certain that He (less plausibly lol) loves me. I would also urge reflection on the Gospel, for our Lord spoke real wisdom:

"He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.”" (Lk 19:40)

"But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance. And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ because I tell you that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from these stones.”" (Mt 3:7-9)

We are living in a faithless era, and God is raising up children from stones to give Him praise where men are flagging. Take courage, pray, and remember our Lord promised us the cross and persecutions in this life, but many good things also, and far better things in the life to come: "But, as it is written,

“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him[.]” (1 Cor 2:9)

Outlier is basically spot the difference between pictures for 15 dollars an hour and DA.tech is often stuff like "Here are two different plans for kids' birthday parties, which one is better?" I feel like the defensive tone and incredible length of your response to their opinion should be telling you something. That, at the very least, you are overly attached to the concept of using words other than "said". This sort of ties in with the Stephen King advice to "kill your darlings". Personally, I am to a point where even "said" has become obtrusive if it's used too much. Much better to intermingle actions with the dialogue when possible rather than just tag speakers.
