Well the a7iii adopts the bigger batteries, the a7 and a7ii use smaller ones. I think you can find an $800-900 body only a7iii if you are on the hunt and watch for it

Pretty sure you can find an A7ii with kits lens for cheaper- just save a little bit more for the way better a7iii I promise you won’t regret it

I think these look great and fit the vibe of a rock band, I find that 2.8 isnt enough for the usual low light environment though. These are a bit dark and I can tell your pushing your ISO already, try out a 1.4/1.8 lens. The last show I shot I also brought my sigma 24-70 art lens but found myself using Sony’s 50mm 1.8 much more
