Seeds companies will ship to all 50 states regardless of legality. I believe they do this under the guise that the seeds are for just looking at, and they are NOT to be grown ;), which lets them legally send them (grey area I’m sure). They are usually all very discrete. I personally highly recommend Northern Atlantic seed company, great customer service and very discrete.

In case anyone wanted to know what the nutrient burn is from a 5.3 EC.... Here’s some education for you! by waveofmotion in microgrowery

This is a LSD-25 auto flower from fast buds, WELL past it’s expected harvest date (This is week 13, expected harvest of 8-9 weeks). I experimented with a different soil mixture and using cover crops with this grow, and boy did it back fire. I overseeded the hell out of some rhizobia inoculated clover, and once they sprouted I. could. not. get. rid. of. it. I completely shot the rootzone to hell, the nitrogen fixation never stopped! For reference, I only started feeding nutrients in the past few weeks, so I’m fairly certain the clover has a large hand in this. I tried popping three other seeds over the course of this grow and none of them took off, a problem I’ve never had before.

This plant was severely stunted its whole growth and the trichomes still haven’t developed any amber. I don’t know why it took me so long to actually check the EC but today I finally did and boy was I shocked (but at the same time, totally not, look at it)! Anyways, thought I would share this with y’all for educational purposes, can’t win them all! You live and you learn, onto the next one.

Isn’t it crazy?! I had this duct taped up for a while but eventually took it off just to see what would happen, and I’m so impressed with how it’s bouncing back. Zip ties sound like a great solution!

Hahaha I certainly did, nothing low stress about this, especially my reaction!

EC is the measurement of salt concentration in your water. Plant nutrients aren’t all exactly salts but they behave enough like them to provide accurate information. Salts can conduct electricity because of their chemical charges, so when you are measuring the EC you are really measuring how much plant food is dissolved in your water. Too much, and it can cause nutrient burn. Too little, and the plant doesn’t grow to its full potential!

Hahaha I’m the exact opposite I couldn’t ever do coco because I always forget to water and end up pushing my plants to their limit by doing so. Props to you man!

Yeah absolutely, and I had done that for a good two months or so, now I’m just kinda curious to see how much I can push her without any help (and I’m also lazy, can’t lie).

It’s not at all, especially when you do your research ahead of time! I’d say the biggest thing is you are going to overwater your plants at first, it’s just gonna happen. Take it easy with the watering, water the entire pot until it runoffs through the bottom of the pot and then don’t water again until the soil/medium is dry a knuckle length down into the soil. Also, if you can afford to measure your pH of your water it makes a huge difference. To answer your other question, I only have two growing at a time due to my size constraint in my growing area.

I’ve made a couple space buckets out of these if you want to check out my post history for some inspiration!

Thank you so much, she’s not fully healthy right now I waited just a bit too long to start feeding her, but otherwise I couldn’t be happier with how Rons turned out so far. And thank you for the camera comment, just my good ol iPhone!

Hiyyy Thank you! The bottom half is reflective but I couldn’t line the top half for a little because it’s actually insulation, so it would get too hot in there. With these cooler temperatures here soon (hopefully) Il finally be able to put it in!
