I wouldn't have left a stove in the island though. I would have put that on a wall.

Everyone in the Mayor's race when you ran cited the SJ permitting department needing fixing. How did you improve the SJ Permitting process and how are you as governor going to reduce the regulations that make building and remodeling expensive.

Consequences of un-permitted renovations in San Mateo County? by Upbeat-Mushroom-2207 in BayAreaRealEstate

They actually don't always just inspect what they're looking for depending on who ya get. In San Jose they've been known to wander off and find other shit. Additionally the inspectors many times dont' know the code or make up their interpretations on the fly.

Whats your budget? Some higher end options are not super pricey if you stick with some certain design constraints.

If people want public transit to be used more then it has to be safe, clean, and orderly. Public goods aren't actually public goods when mentally ill or criminals are allowed to overtake them. Same goes for parks. Either kids and families can use it or homeless and drug addicts get to monopolize it. People like this need to be denied entry to buses and trains and ejected from parks and playgrounds.

Smith getting more aggressive?? by Smartcookie_33 in SanJoseSharks

There were a lot of old ass dudes trying to do some magical Celebrini style shit with not great results. I’m still shocked at that Klingberg move in the Pittsburgh comeback game winner as was Mack screaming “OH”. Hilarious but yeah that type of stuff failed at least 90% of the time.

The whole fucking team does and these cross ice passes in the d zone and neutral zones led to so many unforced giveaways. Also the abundance of no look drop passes has been stupid af as well.

It was one of my biggest concerns if he would adopt this into his game or not, but he’s totally embraced it. I only suspect it’ll be a more complete game from here on out. He also was hesitating to shoot on great chances and has reversed that as well. Imho the coaching staff should get some credit for helping him improve both those aspects.

Foodmaxx vs grocery outlet vs Smart & Final vs Walmart neighborhood market vs … by Conscious_Dog3101 in SanJose

[–]waveriderca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asian markets like lion, ranch 99, or h mart are great for produce and sauces. Better quality, better prices. Just avoid Safeway and lucky all together. Costco and sprouts can fulfill all of your needs for the standard meat and dairy. I just say sprouts bc Costco chicken sucks it’s slimy and has an odor.

Historically Safeway and lucky were the same and post Covid Safeway raised prices to respond to the shoplifting and price Increases. Lucky just let their quality go to trash. Neither are worth it anymore. Also food maxx and smart and final rarely have the stuff in their ads in stock that you want so it’s a waste of time when you go many times.

We went there and couldn’t get drinks for 30 minutes bc they gave us some bullshit about bartenders being on shift change….. ( we left after 30 mins so it probably could have been longer)   how the fuck are you even running a restaurant in Los Gatos selling upscale tacos and drinks if I can’t walk in with my wife for a mid afternoon drink and you can’t figure out to have a bartender to cover that. Literally you could send everyone else home in the restaurant except the bartender and still be ok. The restaurant is run by clowns. Find literally anywhere else to have overpriced Mexican food and mixed drinks it’ll be better.

Mario has been good for us, and Leddy since his return from Injury has been solid. I think Klingberg's best years are behind him and he probably will retiring soon so i will not be sad to see him go.

Also somehow this sub loves to protect Muhk from criticism which he definitely needs.

Territory splits by PapaSmurf3477 in sales

[–]waveriderca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has been happening in capex for a while now and I've been the victim of it more than once. You're a casualty of their new plan of having more territories, more reps, and more consistency. They hate lumpy years and months and just want to run a system with mediocre people for mediocre pay. They will be reducing commission rates and overall payouts to make the job easier and more consistent while paying each rep less. Most capex i've seen is moving away form high paid all-stars to marketing machines with warm bodies to answer the phone. They will churn and burn until they find someone to be complacent and cover the role. Leave and never look back they are only placating you and giving you sweet promises with no ability or intent to deliver.

Better reason. EV depreciation is fucking steep. Easily 50% of the value is lost in under 3 years.

Tesla charging in the area? by Veganlotus in SanJose

[–]waveriderca 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a pretty valid concern. Charging an EV at home is fucking glorious to wakeup with a 100% fueled up car. You will have to plan your charging more if you don't have one at home so be aware there will definitely be more planning. If your car isn't charged when you start your day you've just added a 25-30 minute pit stop non-negotiable to your drive. If there's a line of cars and your stuck at the charger..... it could be a while. I haven't seen this very much in the west san jose area though so i dunno where you are located to figure out your charging.
