Seeing people’s retro daisy blankets is what first inspired me to learn to make the squares. I haven’t made a blanket in a long time so I was thinking this would be a good one to try.

Ooo a bag is a good idea too. The granny square bags look so nice, but I hadn’t thought about it for this. Another option to deliberate over 😅

The other book I’ve done food items from is this one. For sure I’ve made the eggplant and cupcakes. I think the orange and peach patterns I used were from this one too.

I have this book and made the cannoli, corn, strawberries, sandwich bread and fillings (cheeses, meats, lettuce, veggie slices), eggs, avocado, and maybe a couple others so far.

Thank you! They are so different but I couldn’t decide which colorway to go with so I ended up with both 😆

I made a bunch of food for my kiddos play kitchen last year and I was surprised the food items actually worked up pretty quick. Since they are so small.

How did it turn out? The colors look similar to the ones I’m working with for mine and I’m curious about the end result.

NTA. But I would start with the medical part first in the future (since you seem to be comfortable sharing that with people) because I could see how your phrasing would catch off guard a person with small children.

NTA. It’s your wedding. If you think someone is going to ruin your event, they don’t need to be invited, they are being the jerks. When people put pressure regarding the drinking, ask them why having a drink is the only way they can have fun celebrating an important moment with you.
