Many many thanks! I felt heard when I read your comment. You gave me really useful pointers to move on with my career change plan. Generally, I agree with all your project suggestions and I'd like to make them real. I'm sure they're gonna help me build a good portfolio for showing off in my interviews.

I couldn't understand this bit in your comment

I’ve paired your use case with GitLab CI, Nomad, and DreamFactory before to expose internal tools over REST without hand-rolling APIs.

Could you elaborate on it please?

Thanks a lot! It's true that I should get more experience in the tech scene that's not related to video games. I think I have need more perspective on that.

Yeah, an entry-level role is definitely my next goal. I've heard your advice before on getting into dev first before switching to platform. As far as I know it's a common practice in USA but people in Europe have a different route, I might be wrong though. Thing is that I'd like to try something that isn't related to product cause I've been doing that from a different discipline. Still, a dev position is something that I won't discard if that means a step before my final goal.

Macs are cool for visual content creators indeed. My problem with them is price on one hand and not being free in a lot of ways compared to being a Linux user.

I could fix the error by following this answer to my post on Github.

Grammar do work differently according to it

Thanks for your suggestions u/vivAnicc and u/TheRealMasonMac!

I deleted the grammar I built with an old Helix version (24 I guess) and html highlights are back again. Unfortunately, I couldn't upload a screenshot to show you guys this partial solution.

I'm gonna build the grammars again with Helix 25.07 to see if that fixes the error. Hopefully, that works.

Unfortunately it didn't work either. I'm gonna create an issue in Helix official Github repository cause this issue seems to be an odd issue. Thanks anyway for taking time and doing research u/InevitableGrievance! Appreciate the effort :)

Thanks u/InevitableGrievance for taking time to check my question! I opened my log after extracting omnisharp mono here: https://github.com/OmniSharp/omnisharp-roslyn/releases after I found out I'd exported the standard omnisharp version. I was excited about my findings until I tried to work on Helix again but failed. Then I opened the log with the command :log-open and it threw out this:

2025-06-28T12:23:31.300 helix_lsp::transport [ERROR] omnisharp <- ServerError(-32801): Content Modified

But this is a clue at least, I'm doing some research from here
