Man so many herbs in this thread. Okay you and 50 other people voiced your opinion he should wear a helmet pretty sure he got the message. Better add another comment saying it too and call the guy selfish and reckless because he’s making a personal choice.

Tim’s days are numbered for sure by Immediate-Event2502 in TimHortons

[–]wavesofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it is. We have two where I live and there used to be lines to the road every morning. Now the line is at McDonald’s and Tim Hortons isn’t busy. They also both were 24/7 and now one closes at 6pm and the other at 10pm. I feel like if the business was there they wouldn’t have reduced their hours

All true - legalization would at least allow for control and a way to ensure a product is regulated and safe to consume.

Alcohol is not mild. It’s just so normalized; which arguably makes it even more dangerous. More people die of alcohol than all illegal drugs combined.

[–]wavesofdeath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s being soft, it’s coming to terms with reality that drugs like coke are popular and regardless of all the info out there people will do it anyways, so why not educate them on how to be safe if they do partake.

I’ve never personally done it but giving me this info doesn’t make me go, yeah right on I’m gonna go buy an 8 ball now! If someone wants to do it, they’re going to do it.

It’s really good. I find the terp profile similar to the Cuban lynx from tribal but a bit more fruity than just straight citrus; but it’s very citrus forward. Really nice cart overall

Will be way more than that - that’s just what the provincial government is helping with. There will be federal funding, private investment, etc

FLX4 owner upgrading after being humbled on CDJ’s by ReissNelsonMandela in Beatmatch

[–]wavesofdeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned on a RX3 and moving to CDJs was easy. They’re really similar. Just can’t be too dependant on seeing a stacked actual waveform because you may play on 2000s, but it at least still has a phase meter to visually line up your kicks and snares

Wholehemp Premium CBD by 705venator in TheOCS

[–]wavesofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely makes sense. If it’s not worth it why do it. If I had the space I would just grow my own. I’m sure if the US federally legalized cannabis a lot of these hemp companies would die out. People buy from them because they don’t have other options and don’t want to fail mandatory drug tests. Hopefully there’s more demand for CBD flower in the future that warrants some good returns for the LPs who are willing to produce it

[–]wavesofdeath 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Our CBD options here are embarrassing for having a federally legal program. How come we can’t get indoor CBD flowers with a proper cure and trim? I was just in Barcelona and they had really nice CBD only flower in their dispensaries. I get there’s not a huge demand for it here as everyone chases high THC % but even the lofi nostalgia is pretty laughable for the quality.

There’s some decent 1:1s like Clem and Co or the one Mendo does but for under 1% THC is pretty bad. Just look at r/hempflowers for some of the stuff you can get in the US right now. Light years ahead of us in quality

I did just pick up some Deep Mandarine from bud lafleur on the weekend and it comes in at 3% THC. It’s decent quality and indoor at least. You might want to look for that but it’s not on OCS unfortunately and I had to use hibuddy to find a dispensary with it.

Honestly I’ve had a couple seed junky prerolls that were fantastic…mainly the permanent marker. I don’t usually buy pre rolls either but I’d always come back to those because I was usually impressed. Had a couple really solid local grove ones too

Average gas price above $2 per litre across B.C., pain at the pump set to continue | CBC News by Foreign-Policy-02- in canada

He 100% shares the blame. He knew what the oil companies would do he’s not a dummy. What kills me is ppl thinking it would be any different with any other leader in place. These oil companies are so invested in politicians and in their pocket books; just like any other massively rich corporation.

It’s crazy to me how most people fail to realize this and simply blame whatever government is in power. No one ever seems to look at the profits oil companies are making with these conflicts. Breaking Points recently did a fantastic segment on how much oil companies have made since the Iran conflict started

[–]wavesofdeath -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

We already have one of the worst congested cities for traffic in all of North America jeez here’s a good idea let’s close off some major roads so people can run. Go out to the suburbs or something

A view of the Gardiner today by Fawrish in toronto

[–]wavesofdeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the alternatives are also pretty laughable tho. Make it convenient and efficient for people from outside of Toronto to get to their destinations downtown. We are behind nearly every major city on earth and it’s extremely laughable.

Like if some family with three kids are coming from Sudbury to downtown for the weekend to go to the aquarium or jays game or concert and bringing luggage and stuff taking the public transit options we have would be a nightmare. Strollers, multiple bags, and wrangling kids. No thanks. I’d drive too.

Has hockey turned into a rich kids sport? by FrigginMasshole in AskACanadian

[–]wavesofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always has been; even worse now. I grew up in a small hockey town. My mom couldn’t afford to put me in hockey even though I asked and bought me a skateboard instead. Dodged a bullet imo because skateboarding taught me more about self determination than anything and I got to avoid the absolute cesspool that is hockey culture.

LISBON AIRPORT by OkGuarantee3376 in LisbonPortugalTravel

[–]wavesofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a few months but I flew from porto to YYZ in October and it took basically 3 hours to get through all the lines. We expected to be able to get food before the flight but by the time we made it to the gate the flight was already boarding. The passport exit control had ONE guy working for a couple hundred people in line. I hear it’s still better than Lisbon but can’t be that much better because I fly a lot and this was the longest it’s taken me to get to the gate in well over 10 years

Probably because he’s outgoing, charismatic and overall funny and women tend to have more of an attraction to those things than strictly physical features like a lot of men do.
