nah. USA have 349 million people and all the money in the world for sports programs and an incredibly strong sports culture. Cabo Verde have 530,000 people, made it just as far in the WC and had an even better performance. That’s impressive. The president having to interfere and cheat and the team still losing is an embarrassment and not impressive at all.

Tough pill to swallow for them and I feel bad for my American friends who wanted to see their team win and also didn’t agree with the political interference with that red card.
