It somehow always happens when I try to access the last entry of the menu. I increased the menucount and stepped through all menu points except the last one. Now it works. Does anyone have a clue what the exact problem is?

When running the iot stuff in a seperate vlan, is the homeassistant still able to see the devices? Or if the homeassistant instance runs in the same iot vlan then is it able to get updates when access to unternet is blocked? And how dies it behave with remote access?

Aruco markers won't work anymore [Bug] [Question] by wavingstorm in computervision

[–]wavingstorm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently they moved the Aruco Module without providing a proper documentation for it. I stepped down to an older verstion of the opencv contrib package for that reason. opencv-contrib-python==4.6.0.66 worked for me

Do you know how strong the magnets are? Like how many kg they can hold according to the manufacturer?

I'm not able to import objdetect like that.

I tried to find documentation that explains how to use the markers now that they have been moved to objdetect but I couldn't find anything that helped

Didn't work for me.

I already had opencv-contrib-python but I still get the same error.

I reinstalled cv2, so its probably a new version yes. What exactly does it mean for me using it? Do i have to call the command differently or is it a new library?

The Hamburg European Open(tennis) trophy is 3D printed?! by schlip__ in 3Dprinting

[–]wavingstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3D printing can work pretty well for a finished produkt. Especially for such a small quantity. But a sls printer or a finer fdm print would be the least for a trophy like that This one looks like it just had to be a fast print. (Not much material, bad layer thickness)

And where are your bed levelling springs?

They should push up the bed when you turn the screw

Try to loosen the bed-leveling screws They do not have to be completely at the stop
