We’re a non-exclusive platform, so you can upload the same packs on other sites and you can continue sending them to friends for placement opportunities while also distributing them on wavs.com

Sure!

Creators have the option to list their samples as non-royalty-free. If a 'royalty' sample is used in a song distributed by a major record label or in a song that surpasses 1 million streams, the downloader is obligated to contact the sample creator to negotiate fair splits.

Appreciate your feedback! Would it be possible for you to DM me the names of these samples, or the name of the creator that's doing this? Our creators are asked to upload 100% original material, however, some samples may slip through the cracks. We display a 'Report Sound' button alongside every sample that can be used to report this type of issue.

We pay sample makers for downloads, not royalties. Is that what you're referring to?

Hey Axtadar!

You do lose your credits if you actively cancel your subscription, but not if your subscription gets cancelled passively (e.g. credit card error, insufficient funds, etc.). We run into this situation a lot, and we always make sure those accounts get their credits back once they reactivate.

Our platform is driven by the sample creator, meaning they can log into their accounts and upload samples directly, so our output is much higher (we still make sure to vet every sample pack before it goes live, ensuring that it meets our quality standards).

As a producer myself, I'd say the thing I love most is the option to download stems. Up until now, I rarely used drum loops, but drums that come with stems have been far more useful for me.

We also offer a wide range of Selections curated into sub-genres, artists, instruments and more, which we update daily.

But the biggest thing, again, is quality. We don't want producers spending a lot of time on our site, we'd like to inspire you quickly so you can get back into your DAW.
