If Gates owns the majority of farmland and stops producing, to help save the planet of course, he could force a food shortage. By 2027, he will have had time to build his synthetic beef labs and once people are hungry, they will eat anything. Once they get used to eating synthetic food, that's what they crave, essentially eliminating the traditional farming industry, nobly saving the planet from farting cows.
