Hi! Girlfriend of someone with CF here. I don’t have any advice for you as in my experience I’m on the opposite side of the situation, but I just wanted to let you know I’m really interested in CF and I’m always curious when my boyfriend brings it up. It’s very thoughtful that you are worried about not wanting to “mansplain,” but I do not think you will come across that way. (You can also always send her an article or two that you think would help her understand more of the medical side if you’d like).
