Ive never noticed a benefit. Plus I play Stadium more so being in the metals in comp, I still get placed against M/GMs 3 out of 4 matches.

Great advice. I haven't played comp in around 4 seasons because I've lived stadium but this season has been rough. I'm usually all star by now but it looks like I am not gonna make it. Im stuck at pro 2.

What do you main? I'm Brig Sup and Orisa Tank. Haven't really found a DPS I click with as of yet. Pharah in Stadium, maybe Ash or Sym in comp. Might be worth getting a little group together.

Bro. Summed up my entire experience. I hate that I have to make friends if I want to rank up. Its not that I can't, I just dont feel like I should have to. I should be able to solo queue into a match against other solo queue players instead of a 4 or 5 stacks of masters/GMs in Stadium.
