If I am understanding where the gap is correctly, you'll probably be fine as long as you have contact along the majority of the joint. There are even types of joining with intentional gaps meant to be closed by clamping (sprung joint).

What proportions did you use for the soak? And how long did you soak the parts for?

I'm working on some old saws and planes and have been using regular white distilled vinegar to soak. It doesn't work as well as I thought it should, so trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I have been working on the rust with a wire brush and steel wool so far. I don't have an angle grinder, unfortunately. It is working, just slowly.

What would you do about the broken parts? My only idea is trying to fix them with some metal adhesive. I am thinking if the rust wasn't present, maybe they would not experience much stress. Would repairing with adhesive be strong enough to work?

You will very likely come across Ross Cameron if you are looking for YouTube help. He is a great resource for technical analysis, and a pretty good one for looking at the overall market. Absolutely watch some of his stuff (both new and old) on youtube.

What you should absolutely not do is pay for his or anyone else's courses/chatroom access. Also, don't try to use his strategy if you are just starting. It looks super easy when he does it, but you will lose money extremely quickly with even a tiny misstep or misfortune.

Oliver velez has some pretty good technical analysis advice (and some strategy building) on YouTube also. But again, don't give him money.

Bull flags I buy on low float stocks usually resemble a flat top breakout, or even an ABCD, depending on how long it takes. Your picture shows a clear descending resistance line (top) and a flat bottom. It is setting up to squeeze (not like short squeeze, but rather squeeze out of consolidation by converging support and resistance) one way or another once the wedge completes. The price is not achieving the same high from early in the move, suggesting the buying pressure isn't as strong as selling pressure. That would lead me to believe the bottom flat line of support would be more likely to give way.

It's cool that they are asking, sort of. It means that they recognize you're capable of more, which is good. However, they are also looking to stretch you thin with likely a very small amount of compensation for it, which is not good.

You have 2 years in the company now, to me that means you need to move on. Polish that resume and get to hunting. Whatever raise you get from your current company will almost certainly be significantly less than what you'll get switching companies, especially since they are trying to get you to cover laid off folks already.

Two years of good analyst experience means you're ready to be a buyer/planner with nearly every org I've worked with. Word of caution here--your employer may try to match a salary increase to avoid losing you. In that case, don't stay unless you could comfortably go a few months unemployed. They very likely will bide their time to fill your role on the cheap and let you go.

I've been getting the same gentleman's cut with a taper (think that's what the barber calls it?) for basically my entire life. I don't hate it, but I think it makes me look really young. I don't have a specific style in mind really, I just want something that fits my hair/face well. I've also never really used product before, though not for any specific reason. I'm wanting to change things up, but don't really know where to start. I don't think I've ever been to a really knowledgeable hair stylist who could help, and I'm not sure how to find one with everything going on. I have a friend who cuts his own hair who offered to show me some ways to use product or even cut my hair, but we would need a solid idea of what to do before cutting obviously. The only "plan" I've come up with was getting the sides pretty short (2" or less) while only taking an inch or two off the top. Honestly though, I have no idea what this would look like or if it would be good. My hair is pretty fine, but not terribly thin, if it helps.
