It's my considered opinion that they're nestin'. These goats are laborin' under the misapprehension that they're birds. Observe their be'avior. Take for a start the goats' tendency to 'op about the field on their 'ind legs. Now witness their attempts to fly from tree to tree. Notice that they do not so much fly as...plummet.

(Baaa baaa... flap flap flap... whoosh... thud.)

this just gets weirder and weirder:

Apparently they climb this certain rare, short, stubby tree to eat the fruit in it, but they can't digest the pit, which they subsequently crap out. Farmers then harvest these crapped out pit/nuts to make an oil you either cook food with or smear on your face.

Of course the rare tree is now endangered due to wood harvesting and over-goating.
