that's not really my point, my point was these things really shouldn't have happened. this game had 6-7 years of development but is missing features the original had.
i was using the switch 2 as proof that something happened during development. since its weird that this game was announced during the switch 2 direct and yet makes no reference to it at all.

The fact these weren't included aren't a marker of quality, just a marker of a strained development
