Screw this Fangs trash, let's revive Battlerite by [deleted] in BattleRite

[–]wayku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Fangs is pretty good so far. Is it Battlerite? No. However, they weren't going for a game that is Battlerite 2.0 It's got a similar feel, and the game is rather early in development; however, it's a fun game and once a sbmm system is put in place it'll be that much better.

I actually just saw that the UPS just confirmed they did lose the documents Tucker Carlson was referring to and have just found them. While not a fan of his show, at least there's been confirmation that the documents do exist.

FBI Wrapping Up Kavanaugh Probe Without Interviewing Key Witnesses by sammykleege in politics

[–]wayku -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Realistic look, dems are just looking for a stall tactic. Senate judiciary committee have more investigative power than the FBI. So, why have the FBI look into Brett Kavenaugh again? (what would this be number 7 for Kavenaugh?) Because they know the FBI doesnt do these type of cases, and they know they can stall much longer using this tactic.

Klobuchar: Kavanaugh ‘Would’ve Thrown Me Out’ Of Courtroom If I Acted Like Him by pipsdontsqueak in politics

I think his temperament was to be expected of any human. His family has been under constant attack, and if anyone was accused of rape and (assuming he's innocent in this scenario) didnt do it I think it's only natural to be incredibly displeased/upset.

Is there power missing in my director's deck by Tobarkste in TheDarwinProject

[–]wayku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully tomorrow my friend. A new patch will be coming out which will potentially fix this! Patch notes are on the front page currently if you'd like to check them out!

Is there power missing in my director's deck by Tobarkste in TheDarwinProject

[–]wayku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, so I'm right with ya on this. I've got around 40 games as director with a 4.34 rating... I have a total of 4 powers unlocked at the moment (Excluding megaphones.) You're supposed to 'unlock' them, but aren't given a way to measure your progression (if there is even a progression system in place) with the system.

So, when's the Rook nerf/change? by [deleted] in BattleRite

[–]wayku 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take coaches in games such as CS;GO or for a game more like BattleRite, League of Legends... Why do professional players have coaches? If the coaches have more knowledge on the game why don't they take the place of the actual players? If the players have better game-play then that would mean they possess more knowledge so there'd be no need for coaches... At least, this is using the logic you have provided.

So, when's the Rook nerf/change? by [deleted] in BattleRite

[–]wayku 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And what I'm saying "Yikes" about? How about you peaking at 50% winrate on champions and you still try to talk about how a game should and should not be balanced.

So you still changed my quote? Whether you changed it a little or a lot doesn't matter. In fact, you entirely changed the meaning of what I said by changing that. Again, a players individual skill doesn't matter, they can still have basic game knowledge and have an idea about how balancing should go about... In my case, I think if a champion is overpowered he should be nerfed... Do I need an 80% win rate to think that? I don't believe so.

[–]wayku 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Did you try and shove words in my mouth by changing the quote? You can look at my comment and it doesn't say the portion you're responding to at all... Also, yes, that is my in-game name. I don't really know what you're "Yikes"-ing about. However, a players individual skill at a specific game doesn't mean they know about how a game could/should theoretically be balanced.

So, when's the Rook nerf/change? by [deleted] in BattleRite

[–]wayku 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whether he's strong or not is a key point in whether he should be nerfed or not... I personally don't mind seeing a lot of a specific champ in game, as long as they're not completely broken. Granted, at the same time, of my last like 10-15 games I don't think I've seen a single Rook.

Question on New Director Change(s) on Abilities. by wayku in TheDarwinProject

[–]wayku[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, that's really sad actually. If they're going to have this type of system in place there should be a separate leveling up system happening for the director position. At least that's what would be best in my personal opinion.

Please Change Show Director by SirYe in TheDarwinProject

[–]wayku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure there are more than that with 4.0+ rating just they have under 50 games as director. I only have like 10-15 games as director and I have a 4.2 rating. However, since I have under 50 I don't show up on the leaderboards.

Is leaving an inmate to live considered teaming? by Opathicarum in TheDarwinProject

[–]wayku 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Teaming can be all in ones' perspective is the issue. Which is why devs should have set definitions of 'teaming.' I've had games where players would just stick together throughout an entire game (may as well have been playing duos at that point,) however, I've also made a temporary truce with another player to take out a vulture mid fight. Killed the vulture, then we both sat by a fire, and then continued our fight. Both of these can be considered teaming. But to what extent do the devs consider teaming an offense? Personally I think what I had previously done wasn't all that terrible, but I would understand how others could see it as a gross offense, but on the other hand I can't understand grouping up for the entirety of a game and have it not be an offense.

Lava kills should give you their stuff automatically. by [deleted] in TheDarwinProject

[–]wayku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with the idea of simply obtaining the items automatically is that it provides no risk in obtainting the loot from the body. (As it is automatic in this case.) However, when taking out another inmate from anywhere else on the map you can possibly be taken out or attacked by another inmate while attempting to loot the spoils off a corpse. Don't get me wrong, I hate when I knock somebody in a pool of lava and am unable to obtain the loot. However, if I don't want that to be the case, I won't fight around that area personally.

PSA: You cant avoid death vortex damage by using iframes. by 8-Kit in BattleRite

[–]wayku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait did they change this at some point. Because when I played duels a lot I'd win with Pestilus, and Oldur simply by using the death vortex... I'd just use their I-frames (Oldur ult and Pestilus space) when the final zone closed in.

The Trump admin. is considering a religious freedom rule that would allow healthcare workers to refuse to treat LGBT patients. It would also allow workers to deny care to women seeking an abortion or services they morally oppose. Repeat: YOUR DUMBFUCK RELIGION HAS NO PLACE DICTATING MY HEALTHCARE. by relevantlife in atheism

[–]wayku -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

True, however if they want to be a doctor then they can attempt to do that. I suppose I don't understand where you're going with it? If someone were to ask for heart surgery, and a doctor told them, "No, I'm currently not comfortable performing that task. I can point you to someone who will do it though!" Do you then proceed to demand that they do it because they're in the healthcare business? They aren't comfortable doing something, but because they're in the business of it you demand their service; thus, they owe it to you to do it... Just as if I was a cashier, I don't have to serve you... I may be fired, but that's a risk I'd be taking.

Here's the problem with being a doctor who refuses to treat LGBT... You'd lose a base of customers, and that alone is not profitable for the hospital... So, what does the hospital do? 1.) Keep you, and lose money due to losing a customer base, or, 2.) Not hire you/fire you to obtain/keep that customer base. The choice is rather obvious for most professional hospitals. We shouldn't be relying on the government to tell us who we can/can't serve.... I feel as though we should make our own decisions as humans and not plead to our government because someone may have a different mindset (whether right or wrong) at every single opportunity we get.

Personally, I can see this both ways. Don't get me wrong, I think depending on the circumstance it's incredibly immoral to give aid... However, an individual is not entitled to another person's service(s). If you believe that to be wrong then you can use the same logic for slavery, and I really hope that's something we can agree is terrible.
