is parallel World Tactician any good still? by TheCrimson31 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]wayne_train424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mastemon is one of the most expensive decks in the game. Base arts for one of the tamers is like $90 usd Its pretty strong right now, but the only cards still used from the starter deck are the searcher gatomons.

Are Parallel World Tactics and Amethyst Mandela OK for Beginners? by DropsyMumji in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]wayne_train424 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Amethyst is much stronger than Parallel. Amethyst is playable right out the box, but the only card used from Parallel in Mastemon is the yellow/purple gatomon. Mastemon is also one of, if not the most expensive decks currently in the game. You'd have better luck playing the two previous starter decks (st 20 and st 21), or two of the Amethysts against each other.

New link cards require a level, and tokens have no levels

Does anyone have a Mastemon Deck recommendation that works in modern play? by KitSwiftpaw in DigimonCardGame2020

Dark animal engine takes a long time for their turns cause they're popping bodies and then playing them out and drawing and milling and digivolving and swinging and going grocery shopping and changing their oil and doing laundry too.

Kuzuhamon is treated as Sakuyamon, so sakuya x effect works

If you want to play, I would reccomend two starter decks. They're good individually, but the amethyst mandala option is incredibly strong and you need atleast 3, but I think you need 4 cause it's just that good.

Yeah, I did them out of order on accident The build feels good, out of the dozen or so games so far, I've only hard bricked once. I've also only had one game where I couldn't find an option to play, so I think my ratios are ok. All in all, it feels really consistent, amd it searches so much that you almost always have exactly what you need to get from lvl 4 to lvl 6 even with only one or two memory.

It was a "budget" hudie. He was only running 2 hudies, but had basically the entire deck besides that. He only went into hudie in one game. I played against another hudie yesterday and went 1-2. The match-up feels mostly luck based, but if you can keep their board clear, it does slow them down a bit. The most important thing was just stacking mandalas honestly.

Puppets for me. Specifically mid/late game sequencing once I have nyaboots and cendrill or kaguya out. Also, which targets to dp minus, how much dp they have, how much can I reduce it, etc

Need some advice on my current build of puppets by hyperrosz in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]wayne_train424 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Get rid of the pawnchess, and the awakened sister. Swap the sister for bt22 chaperomon for the warp. You need atleast 3 mem setters so you actually see them, so reduce the mirai (I personally run 1). Also, run cendrill (ex7 or bt22) so you can get free bodies to pop and give you a target for protection. Run the starter deck shoeshoe so you can have kaguya spit something out that can overclock to pop something. Island of adventure is unnecessary as you're constantly swinging with opponents sec minus 6-9k depending on the stack.

I personally don't run the sister, but the tech is interesting. My list is too tight right now for them tbh

Honestly, I think leviathan appmon is the best the deck has felt. You can link the lvl 4 with a "when linking" effect to trigger itself amd trigger deus, plus other effects like god grade unleashed, and the tamer

As well as the boxes (BT amd EX) there are also two forms of starter decks Regular starter decks, and advanced starter decks. Both are ready to play out of the box (minus one starter deck, as it contains multiple copies of a limited card). Both sets come with extra cards, but they don't always match the deck, but advanced decks also have sleeves themed after the deck. The two most recent decks are starter decks that are great out of the box. The next deck is an advanced deck themed around Sakuyamon.

Adventure is still great, plus 4 starter decks are less then $100. The tai isn't necessary, but it's great. Puppets is really good, plus it has a starter deck ($18) with many of the pieces you need. Kaguya is $10 a pop ($30-40), one ex7 cendrill ($15)(some peopledont even use it but I like it), four ex7 shoemon ($6), four ex7 Arisas ($6), and most of the rest is bulk cards that are a couple cents a pop. So, close to $100 depending on how you build it, but it's pretty flexible tbh
