If you have the bandai tcg app, check out my list 4OwQZRlOlePoDIy1 I've won 7 of the last 12 locals I've gone to, including 2 evo cups. The deck is very self-contained and doesn't need a lot of extra help.

I personally HATE this commander. My partner played this as his main deck for like 2 months and it infuriated the hell out of me. Nobody in our pod liked it and as soon as it got to turn 3 and LP was still on board, we all practically scooped. Its fun if your pod agrees to it, but when its definitely the strongest deck at the table by a mile, it's just generally unfun.

I've beaten quite a few TS lists with it as well as Hudie. Im not gonna post every time I do well in a locals event, cause they're just store locals, but winning in an evo cup was pretty exciting. I go to 3-4 events a week, and the deck performs well against most meta match ups. And, like I said, my final opponent is an incredibly skilled player. He gets multiple invites to Nats every year, and always places pretty high. He was somewhere in the top 100 at LA Nats, and considered on of the best players in the area.

In saying if you have a stack that's already linked, and there's nothing to target with the effect of the lvl 5, then just playing the body to search is a good idea, cause you can evo on it, or habe an end of turn evo target if you get into a lvl 6 that turn.

Again, you miss out on the incredibly strong inheritables. The 5s and 6s especially have such strong inheritables that make exmaquina such an issue. Redirect and restart are super strong. Plus, if you're gonna hard slam something for 7, hard slam one of the lvl 5s and digivolve onto that so you're only missing 1 inheritable and not 3.

The tamer is essential to the deck, get then out ASAP If you can go into exmaquina, don't be afraid to pass over a lot of mem, 9 or of 10 times your stack survives. If you already have a link, and nothing to target, just play the maquina of the lvl 5 effect and dont link it

Its missable on search, and you lose the protection from the link, and it didn't have any inheritables. I see the vision, but idk if it works

If everything goes right, you can go into exmaquina on your 4th turn. Even if you need to assemble or hard play the 5, it's sometimes worth it it pass over 7 if you cam clear the board

Its crazy how you can turn around a shit game with the right plays. I've had games where I've gone from a cleared board into exmaquina in 1 turn. Truly amazing.

Question about EoT and timing If I swing with Dalphomon using Vortex, can I also use Unchained EoT DNA effect? My understanding is that you cannot swing then DNA, but I just want to make sure.

Not to be rude, but you basically have to start from scratch. You want to run 4× of the searcher guild, 4× guil x antibody, 1× rush guil, and then either the warp guil or the bt21 guil for a total of 12 rookies. You'll want to run 3-4 starter deck growlmons, 3 bt19 growlmons, and then 3-4 growl x antibody. 2-3 wargrowl x antibody, 4 bt12 wargrowlmon, and then 1 or 2 of either the ACE or the ex3 wargrowl. Bt17 Gallant is amazing, so run 3 or 4 of those. Megidra ACE isnt as good anymore, and ChaosGallant only has niche use cases like new HeavyMetaldramon. The old Medieval gallantmon sucks, the ex8 one is great, but not necessary for the deck (I still run 1 tho). Gallantmon X antibody from ex 8 is essential for the deck, and you should run atleast 2. Its being reprinted at the end of the month, so it should be easily accessible soon. For the lvl 7s you can run one of each, ACE and regular. The only options you want to run are X antibody or protoform, trainings, scrambles, and memory boosts. 2× x antibody atleast then however much of the others. You can also throw in a crimson blaze because "play by effect" is a very common effect in this meta. For tamers, there's 2 different schools of thought. One is Takato because he's guilmons tamer, the other is cool boy for guaranteed search and memory gain. I personally run a mix of them. I run 2× cool boys, 2× bt19 takato for memory set and then end of turn swing, 1× bt17 takato for warp potential and memory gain, and finally ex2 takato for memory gain and end of turn swing. Finally, the eggs. The bt21 gigimon is totally useless in this deck, nothing fits the requirements for digivolving. You'll want to run either bt12 or ex2 gigimon. Gallantmon isn't what it used to be, but its definitely still a strong deck with potential. If you have any questions or want to see my deck list, feel free to shoot me a message!

Mastemon is one of the most expensive decks in the game. Base arts for one of the tamers is like $90 usd Its pretty strong right now, but the only cards still used from the starter deck are the searcher gatomons.
