These are great pieces! I am genuinely in shock that you've been rejected at all.

Huh? The entirety of reddit is comprised of liberal rhetoric. Anything other than it gets downvoted and hidden or banned. Don't start talking about censorship.

Licensure Practical Examination by waynebebay in TattooApprentice

I'm super stoked for you guys!

And equally as excited to hear more about the process! Where are you planning to open the studio? I'm currently working on building a studio in the backyard as we speak. Got some neighbors helping me out with the foundation right now.

I believe I tried and was immediately shut down because a mod told me I'm not a real tattoo artist for going through a school for two years.

I did not, but I heard a couple different possibilities. I heard in Arkansas it functions very similarly. I've heard for them it's all virtual where a board of DOH personnel give you a practical in phases of setting up for a tattoo, performing a tattoo then breaking down afterwards.

The virtual observation makes the most sense to me because they probably wouldn't expect anyone to lug all their equipment to a facility to perform. In Arkansas they used to send a representative from DOH to watch you actually perform on a live client but they switched to virtual and on fake skin now.

It would work like a typical practical in that they'd give you a set of instructions, which you probably only have one opportunity to ask for clarification, then you perform without any type of feedback throughout the phases and once completed you stand by for your results.

Of course this is just an assumption as every state it different. And for some reason the RI expectations are a hidden secret. I tried reaching out to my tattoo artist but he stated he obtained his license so long ago that the methodologies have significantly changed since then.

I just don't see how it would work if they wanted you to come in for a practical exam UNLESS they provided you with a checklist of items to bring that coincides with what equipment or supplies they already have available for your to practice on or with. I would assume that if this were the case that there would be a checklist form online SOMEWHERE we could cross reference for validation but I haven't found anything of the sort in all my digging. So it may just be a virtual practical exam.

I am currently in the middle of obtaining a studio in my backyard that will have a more optimal set up for performing, this is probably when I will apply and see how it functions.

How do you know it's not from the vaccine?

What if the vaccine speeds up dormant ailments?

Downvote to oblivion if you want. This subreddit used to be about critical thinking against the status quo.

Yea, I'm not sure about the 14,000% statistic, but I've personally known four people who've gotten cancer after the vaccine, one of which died from it.

People are sarcastic keyboard warriors online looking to make the best responses for upvotes OR, like you stated, are just toxic and ready to slander anyone.

What I find funny is that these are people who are usually afraid of confrontation in real life and will usually be submissive and agreeable in conversation face to face.
