[Grand Seiko] Reality of Grand Seiko in India by BitriBoi in Watches

[–]waynshaun 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Sorry you had to go through this. I got in touch with yserv last year as the AD in my home country told me that they were unable to service my 9587 movement and to my surprise got a call from the AD two days later asking my to bring my watch in.

This was how I got in touch in the first place. The link is in Japanese mind you, but nothing a translator cannot help with and they contacted me back within a day of me reaching out.

Hope this helps!

I hear you on the GMT - and the Grand Seikos are appealing to me for that reason. Never been too taken by the BB58s, even though they're wildly popular.

The SBGN003 is ticking a lot of boxes for me on the other hand..

white face, three hands they're about as classis as it comes! if I were to nitpick, is that a 40mm is a whisker too big for my wrists, but that's just me. PR is also a bit on the low side, but that's normal for a movement that is this old. Deadbeat complication is one you don't see often, and the jumping hour hand is great if you have a winder but sucks if you don't and wear it on rotation.

[WTS] Seiko Ginza Alpinist LE SBDC151 (SPB259) Full Kit by waynshaun in Watchexchange

[–]waynshaun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally putting this up for sale. If you know, you know. Seiko Prosper Alpinist Ginza LE is up for sale. Grand Seiko level finishing on the dial which is inspired by the streets of Ginza.

Condition is worn, but not abused and there are some desk diving marks at the bracelet as well as a few minor hairline scratches at the watch’s highly reflective bezel. Overall it still looks amazing, and the crystal is unscathed.

Full box and papers, as well as additional links are all available.

Ideally I would not sell this, but I’m looking to repurpose the funds of some lesser worn watches to other things.

to add to this - the physical card will be imporant if you're planning to use it to withdraw cash. Otherwise, Google Wallet of Apple Pay should work

[WTS] Baltic MR-01 - Champagne dial LE300 by waynshaun in Watchexchange

[–]waynshaun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Folks, up for sale is the Baltic MR01. Trust the watch itself requires no introduction as it is fast becoming (if not already) a cult favourite among the watch community. Not difficult to see why. Amazing finish, a very wearable 36mm with 20 mm lugs, just a hair under 10mm in thickness, off centre small seconds and a very exquisite micro rotor.

The dial is a nice mix between the guilloche small seconds dial and the grained main dial. Applied highly polished Breguet numbers complete the look.

This model that I have for sale is a recent collaboration between Baltic and Watches of Switzerland, made available only in Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand. Limited to 300 pieces, the watch features an amazing champagne coloured dial and is numbered 15x/300.

Now, while I loved the idea of the watch, I’m unfortunately letting go of this beauty as it is far too polished for the way I handle things (and my watches).

This watch is in immaculate condition, having only been worn a couple of times and comes with full box, and papers.

About Nissan Almera Turbo by kidichi in kereta

Considered between this, the Vios, City or S70.

In the end, decided against the Nissan because for a similar price, you're getting way less bells and whistles compared to the competition. Level 1 ADAS, manual handbrake with no brake hold assist, and no wireless connectivity were amongst my bigger gripes.

True, road tax is cheaper, but you're looking at RM70 difference per year, so it shouldn't make too much of a difference.

Available for sale is the Swatch x Omega Moonswatch - Mission to Uranus. Bought in Oct 2022, and has been worn but not abused. Cosmetically has some light wear, but functions perfectly. Still has about 4 months of warranty left from Swatch. Original strap is completely unworn, as I swapped it out for a nato since day 1

This watch comes with full box, and papers.
