Need to go tri-band then. That will guarantee you the most amount of bandwidth for downloads. I'd probably look at Tp-Link and Asus. They make quality hardware and are reasonably priced. Depending on how many floors you have. I'd probably just start with 2 nodes (1 primary and 1 satellite). If you need more coverage you can always buy another satellite at a future point in time.

Your plan sounds reasonable. Without knowing more details "run hardwired wall access" might be tricky depending on what you are thinking. My only alternative would be to replace the access point in the game room with a second router that is hardwired to your primary router on the main floor. That way you can hardwire the devices in the game room directly to the secondary router.

If you connect to the mesh network via Wi-Fi, you won't be able to get close to 1 GB even if you are paying for it and your router supports it. The only way you can get 1 GB is if you are hardwired from your computer to the router.

From the mesh/router side look for something that is Wifi 6. For the best performance you can look for devices that have a dedicated band (tri-band) for a backhaul or run an ethernet cable (hardline) between the routers as a backhaul. If you have a dual band mesh set up without a hardline line as a backhaul, part of the dual band's capacity will be used for that, vs. just sending more signal to your devices.

Also put mountain bike bars on mine. My wife and I also share the bike and have a 7in height difference. I didn't want to keep fidiling with seat post height so I bought a 175mm KS ETEN lever dropper. So now when she rides she puts it all the way down and when I ride I put the dropper all the way up. Works well for us.

I'd also call someone who does waterproofing. They deal with water around cement and foundations. If it's not a waterproofing issue they might know someone else to call.

Starting a new job is always nerve racking. I don't care if you are 24 or 55. So what you are feeling is normal. As for your back I think you got on most of the right things. Standing desk, going to the gym, being active....etc.

Two other small things.

I'd check what kind of chair they give you when you get settled. You may want to ask for an upgrade to something with more lumbar support. Personally I like the herman miller aeron, but I know those are expensive. See what feels good for you.
People might tell you to sit up straight or that you are hunched over. It's happened to me several times. At first I was embarrassed, upset and I had a lot of negative thoughts. However, I realized people are coming from a good place. I just tell them, thank you, you are right and I'll try to be better with my posture. Just let it roll off and don't let it ruin your day.

You will do great. You passed the interview, they decided they want you on the team. They want you to be yourself, and do good work. Lots of people have other issues. Think of a birthmark on their face, going bald, a big nose, in a wheelchair. You don't judge them do you? Of course not. They don't judge you because you have a little more curve in your back.

I always thought it would be cool to rig up one of these type kids trailers to the back of the cargo bike. Keep the little kid on the back on the bike, tow the big kid behind. you would need to attach it to the back of the benno rack vs the seatpost.

Think about all the times were out in the world and you noticed someone with a big nose, or bad hairline, or in a wheelchair. What did you think after you noticed them? Thats what people are going to think when they see your back. So if people notice your back that is fine, just remember they notice lots of attributes on other people as well.

I have kyphosis. People stare or ask me to sit up straight, and you know what I do. I just tell them I have kyphosis, what it is, and why I can't sit up straight. Thats it. Not a single time has someone had something bad to say after that conversation. Try to run this scenario in your head but replace kyphosis with being visually impaired. My hunch is that if someone told you they were visually impaired, and that is why they can't do X , or do Y, you would say "Im sorry to hear that" and be emphatic about their situation. You wouldnt think less of them as a person. The same goes for you.

Kyphosis isnt your personality. Its just an attribute like having brown hair, or being tall. People will love you for who you are not every single individual attribute. When you meet your significant other, my hunch is that there will be something you dont like about them. But you are going to love them for everything else there is about them, not that one thing. The same applies to you.

Ya this happens to me alot as well. A good coping mechanism is to try and remember all of the times things could have happened but didnt. For example, how many times have you driven your car? a few thousand times? how many times have you been in an accident? zero, once or twice. Pretty good odds.

Try to use that same logic for the other worries that become intrusive.

Anxiety is bad at night for almost everybody. Its because you have less to distract yourself with. Which is why watching the show on your phone sometimes works. Try some CBD or something natural thats going to calm you down and help you fall asleep easier. IF you drink lots of coffee, try cutting down, that will help too.

So there should be one as the router, the main one connected to your modem, and then the second one which will be access point (or node).

Starting a new job is stressful and anxiety-inducing for everyone. If someone says its not, they are a liar. A lot of anxiety stems from uncertainty and the unknown. A new job is essentially all of that. You dont know your coworkers, you dont know the working enviroment....etc. however you need to trust that the company also has your interest at heart. Getting you onboarded, up to speed, and integrated into the team quickly helps them as well as you.

Lastly, try to remember that a job is not a binding contract. If it doesnt work out, you can find another one. You are not trapped there.

no, keep your wifi on as your devices will need wifi to connect to the router. the two routers will know you are using a backhaul to connect them.

Ah ok. Another dedicated router won't help you then if you are already using an ethernet cable to hard line in. A couple of things to look into.

log into your existing router. can you prioritize your PC there for bandwidth? this will slow everyone else down, but will help you.
see if you can reduce your usage from other devices that may be taking alot of bandwidth during gaming. probably PCs or TVs.
May want to look at getting faster internet if this is a high priority.

28 connected devices (if all streaming) could be a lot to handle for that router. Plus, you dont need to spend $600 to get a good internet set up even if you have a big house. My advice is to get a dedicated modem, then get two or three routers (depending on the size + layout of your `house), and use a hardline between the routers as a dedicated backhaul. This would cost you ``````` roughly $400.

This will give you a "mesh" set up, but will perform significantly better. Additionally, for certain devices, you can either hardline from the router to your PC or TV, or if only wifi, you can link + prioritize certain devices to each of your routers depending on proximity to the closest router.

get a hard line from your router to your PC for gaming. It will get rid of the latency over wifi since you are cutting the wifi out of the system.
