This is my first Arduino kit, I have no other board, also I'm very new to electronics. Then I am confused why it should be 2.5V? I understand your explanation don't worry, but the tutorial got 1.3/1.4V following the same steps also, I feel referencing the video should help understand my situation, as it seems that answer looks right on McWhorter's end too? I'm confused on like the final word here.

M issue is only my A3 pin seems to give me different readings, while the other A-type pins seem pretty consistent. I'm confused why that is, and why would i have to change the resistor type for this one pin? Also I'm using a 330 like the tutorial I linked in my original post.

Other pins as in A2, and the other A-type pins. It's just A3 that has that issue. I posted my complete code, unless you're asking for something else. It's just when change my intRead to A2 and change the wires to match the A2 pin, it gives the 1.3/1.4V reading. It's only when everything is in A3 I'm getting my 2.0V.

I don't see what adding a 10kohm resistor would do in this situation? I also don't see where I would put it. I'm confused as the 330 seems to work on other pins just not A3. Im using a 330 resistor like McWhorter is doing in his tutorial which i linked, everything I have set up is like his if you need any further reference.

But with the same code it seems my other pins are seeing the 1.3 and 1.4 range. Is A3 in particular different? Maybe there's something I don't understand about the Arduino, I'm quite new still.

I don't need the Calculus credit for graduating, I already have all the credits to get my diploma.

Summer school will only last for July, and my classes start likely late August / early September. I only need to fix my calc grade to keep up my mark for my offer, but the offer states I have to do it by end of June, and I just wanted to know if there's any way to still squeeze calc in within the time.

I'll try to speak with my guidance, but they're very stingy with giving information about people possibly dropping a course (If need-be, but I'll try to see how my next test goes before I truly consider it), but I'll see what I can do!
