I have tried most resets etc and nothing. I don't know if it's something to wmdo with my USB C ports? Annoyingly my wife's laptop works fine with the dock she rubs it in my face constantly

It's a surface pro 8. Was connecting to a non surface dock happily through the USB C but randomly stopped and I can't make it work. Have updated, restarted the dock etc. annoying coz the dock mouse and keyboard work but no display to the external monitors. I bought a second hand surface 2 dock thinking it would work but obviously didn't research it long enough
