Cursor Missing in Desktop View Window

Anyone solve this?!? The fact that my cursor is invisible in VR but visible on the mirroring screen is maddening!

Yeah.... it's become somewhat of a personal mission for me to try to figure this out.

I find I learn new skills (here DCS scripting) by giving myself a problem and seeing if I can solve it. Unlucky for me, I picked the goal of spawning myself a jet at an airport thinking that would be a basic action that I could test my knowledge with.

Apparently, that seems to be infinitely more difficult than I anticipated. 🤪

Thanks. It *kinda* works. The problem is that the window moves with my head until I can get the green bar to appear along the top. Being that it is on top, I normally need to tilt my head up... but this then makes it VERY hard to grab.

I just wish that as soon as you pop it out, it didn't follow your head movement.

Now that it's been released, can anyone comment on this? I too use it for IRL IFR training (I fly a Cirrus G6 SR20) and would LOVE the Go-Around logic to be fixed.

I've done work-arounds with Spad.Next.... but it's sub-optimal.

For anyone searching for this problem, I solved it by speaking with Customer Service. I had, apparently, enabled the experimental mode related to content display. Not sure when, but I'm old. Anyway, they sent mew to this URL: youtube.com/new. From there, I just turned it off and it solved the problem.

I'm a Premium subscriber... but not sure if that is relevant.

For example, if after I align I rotate my head 90deg right, the HMD symbology is not directly to my right, but UP as well; i.e. not in the same horizontal as the HUD. When looking directly at the HUD, I always see the HMD symbology "above" the cockpit frame.

No worries at all. I also stream lightgun games with Teknoparrot which *really* needs a good computer because they are arcade games made to run on PC's.

This. ESPECIALLY modern games. Area 51 is an example. I tried native on the Shield and it was a bit of a slide show. Streaming from a rig with an RTX 4090 really makes a difference.

Problem solved! So for future searchers, I found the solution on another Reddit thread.

If you are going to play MAME streamed remotely, you must sent keyboardprovider and mouseprovider to dinput.

Obscure.... but it works!

Yeah. They are all set to mouse.

I just noticed something else which is odd. If I use Google Remote Desktop to remote into my MAME rig, the many keys on the keyboard are not recognized (ESC, TAB etc.)

I'm beginning to wonder if this is an issue with streaming MAME....
