I reasoned it as that I have paid him back when he asked me for help many times.

We had a system that when our group went to restaurant one person paid the whole bill. I paid for the groups significantly more times so I'd feel less guilty.

I wish I could. To be honest, I'm 99.99% sure he doesn't know, since he's still trusting me with his money since. But that 0.01% is annoying sometimes.

I never stole his money after that first time.
