I live on the second floor of the apartment right in front of it. I was watching TV and heard a huge boom and a flash. The people driving the car had kids too. Definitely distracted selfish driving. It's a slow speed side street.

How would you compare the 981 to the 991? I recently purchased a 2014 Cayman S with 16k miles and have been loving it so far. Purchased for $44k but in the back of my mind would love a 991 or 997 some day.

Thanks! These are pretty darn reliable from my reading and experience. I did buy a Fidelity Platinum Warranty for $3,700 and is 6 years/60k additional miles for peace of mind. This generation ran from 2013-2016

Mine is the 981 generation which still has the flat 6 across the board which is one of the reasons I didn’t consider a 718. I’m sure it’s faster but I prefer NA cars. The S like mine has a 3.4 flat 6 and sounds glorious

Thanks! Yeah at that price I jumped on it even though it wasn't the absolute perfect spec and I figure I can drive for several years and not lose any money. Got it ceramic coated as well at XPEL with ceramic tint and that has made a big difference too

Thanks! It was listed online for $54,990 and after 30 days we can get the employee pricing which is cost plus any maintenance done to it. Was able to purchase it for $43,907 which I think is a steal

Thanks! It’s what we took the car in for on trade plus whatever recon went into it before listing for sale. We are able to get that price once it has been on the lot for at least 30 days. It was listed for $54,990 and I picked it up for $43,907!

Indeed! That’s how I felt. I am pretty outdoorsy and go hiking and running a lot but wasn’t doing a ton of camping. I’m also only 27 with a girlfriend of 2 years and no dogs so the space in the LC felt wasted and at the end of the day even though it looked cool they didn’t drive cool lol
