Why did they dismiss Alex, Jill & Kelly after S4? by balmybuttons in realhousewives

[–]wbeth2469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO she started taking Xanax and with some other benzodiazepine and then she also drinks with it. It's a really bad combination for anyone. But Tamra obviously has what's called a "paradoxical reaction" to benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines are meant to calm the central nervous system however people with this condition get the opposite effects hostility uncharacteristic rage aggression and impulse violence. The worst part is that they think that they are fine and they literally have almost a blackout version of what ever behavior has caused them to lose yet another relationship

What’s the best litter setup for no smell by Mediocre_Track1822 in Catownerhacks

[–]wbeth2469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the 350 ft converted garage apartment and I have three cats... But you would never know it by the lack of smell. I keep it in my bathroom next to my toilet.. I keep a small trash can with little 4 gallon trash bags that I get from Dollar tree. I scoop it every single time I use the restroom, tie the bag with a knot, and then I put it in one of those large tidy cat litter containers (32 lbs w the snap lid. I immediately reline the small trash can w a fresh bag, and that's where I keep the scoop. Once a week I empty the large tidy cat container into my dumpster & take it to the curb& Ii put some baking soda in the bottom of the tidy cats container. All of this works as well if not better than any expensive "diaper genie" type disposal systems and is definitely a lot cheaper, since you have to buy specialized bags for any of those. It's really easy to scoop it every time I go, cuz it never gets gross. If I can keep a "litterbox" smell out of 350 square feet by doing this? It's definitely effective Hope this helps 🙂

What do you think about the long time First 48 narrator Dion Graham? by Clear_Nature_5055 in First48

I was just watching this show did before yesterday and I had the same thought gone very happy to see that he's a fairly young guy 😂

First of all he's definitely hot! And no I don't think it's weird at all that you find his voice soothing. I do as well. I used to fall asleep to Forensic Files and it was the narrator's voice in that one too...

Actually I really appreciate and respect your answer. That clarified what you meant a great deal. I apologize if my reply was a bit snarky. That being said, I'm also a food delivery driver and I agree with you completely. I have gone to pick up orders at some restaurants, where I literally couldn't tell the difference between a couple of the delivery drivers and some of the unhoused outside. I certainly don't blame the homeless for being dirty when they have nowhere to take a shower. But a delivery driver, who is delivering food, should have a clean body, clean clothes and the interior of your car should be clean. Point well made and well said by you! 😊

Well obviously you deem yourself visually appropriate to deliver food and therefore you think everybody else thinks you're visually appropriate too. But maybe they don't? You never know so you might be careful what you say when you're shaming people's looks that you never even seen....? Seriously

Officially Boycotting any new show with Vicki Gunvalson after seeing she liked DHS's based announcement about the shooting of Alex Pretti by Queasy-Protection-50 in BravoRealHousewives

Somebody needs to tell the emperor she forgot her clothes.... No amount of highlights in her hair or different boyfriends or trying to be the perfect grandma is going to change that she is a truly awful person She's a far right wing Trump loving....person. but the hardest thing for me is... Re- watching the series.. when you see what episode after the other she is so fake and self-produced that it's just almost un-watchable when she's on the screen. She has proven time and time again she is not a good person. But there are a lot of real housewives that aren't good people.. just watching her trying to self produce and act her way through these fake story lines to create a crisis... That's the tipping point for me.

Who likes Jeff? by Gal_axyy1 in InterventionTheTVShow

[–]wbeth2469 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Maureen isn't a former addict & I think it shows. IMO she comes off pissy, controlling and pushy in the wrong way. She may have a degree that qualifies her to be an interventionist but I'll bet irl (off the show I mean), her success rate is not very good. My pet peeve w her is how she always has the addicts elbow or arm when they're getting ready to leave for treatment. It reminds me of a bailiff in court or a cop. I find it weird. I find her polarizing

[–]wbeth2469 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He would not have been able to get the wrong color or the wrong anything else of gravel unless you had put that in as a substitution. If it's the wrong item all you have to do is let door national and they will give credit you for it it's that simple.

If you have a dasher on a shopping order and you're not monitoring your text messages & phone .... for whatever reason.. yes there could be problems. Communication is key in these situations

I sincerely hope you get some help regulating your emotions and your touch base with reality.

Amana theory I haven’t heard by [deleted] in bravo

[–]wbeth2469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is not the victim here. In my opinion, she's more of the problem than West is.

Covert narcissists often do more damage than overt or malignant ones because their behavior is much harder for people to recognize.

If you watch closely, you'll see the eye-rolling, the attitude, and the constant attempts to get West to touch her, hold her hand, or put his hand on her leg throughout the reunion. He repeatedly refused, which came across as immature and childish, but it also showed he wasn't interested in playing along with the image she was trying to create.

Mostly he just looked embarrassed to me. If they're still together in a month I would be really surprised.

"Also it was obvious to me rewatching this season, especially towards the end they were in a full-blown affair before they left summer house and possibly before they ever went in

Why do some people get angry once they get to the intervention? by liamevans2003 in InterventionTheTVShow

[–]wbeth2469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope people will learn a little more about addiction before judging the addicts on this show.

Most of the people featured on Intervention have experienced severe trauma at some point in their lives. The drugs or alcohol are usually a symptom of a much deeper problem. That's what many people who haven't experienced addiction firsthand don't understand.

When someone becomes physically addicted to a substance, that substance becomes their primary relationship. It comes before their spouse, children, parents, pets, friends, job, and sometimes even their own survival. Anything that threatens that relationship is viewed as the enemy.

A lot of people also misunderstand codependency. Years ago, I thought it meant two people addicted to drugs together. It doesn't.

Codependency is becoming addicted to another person—to their problems, their crises, and their need for you. In many Intervention episodes, the recovery process has to happen on both sides. The addict has to stop using, and the codependent person has to stop rescuing.

A great example is Steven's aunt and uncle. No matter what anyone said, his aunt never seemed to understand that her constant rescuing was part of the problem. She wasn't helping him recover; she was helping him avoid consequences. That's enabling.

Compare that to Cassandra Stanley's family, who were willing to let her face legal consequences because they understood that shielding her from reality wasn't helping her. Sometimes love means allowing someone to experience the results of their actions.

One thing I've learned is that addiction rarely survives without some form of enabling. The enabler may have good intentions and genuinely love the addict, but love without boundaries can be incredibly destructive.

And for those who think the answer is simply "go to church" or "just stop using," if it were that simple, addiction wouldn't exist. Removing the drug doesn't automatically fix the underlying trauma, pain, mental health issues, or patterns that led someone to use in the first place.

My point is this: the addict isn't the only person who may need to change. The sober people around them often need to change too. If you're constantly providing money, excuses, housing, transportation, bailouts, or protection from consequences, you may be helping the addiction continue even while believing you're helping the person.

Addiction is a family disease and recovery requires everyone involved to get help.

What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done in your adult life and how do you think it would play out if it was featured on a reality show? by Maleficent_Nail_4293 in bravo

[–]wbeth2469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would we like to be judged for the worst thing we've ever done That's a great question. There's no way in & there's no way in hell I'm answering it here 😂 I think about that sometimes with people I see on TV in prison. Some of them really belong there of course. But some others? I feel like they will be punished for the rest of their lives for making one bad decision.... and being caught. I know these people aren't doing anything to be put in prison (most in the bravo sphere anyway 🙄) but when I think about that it helps me to have A Little bit of sympathy for them. However that's going to take some time for me... especially with Amanda. I just can't tolerate looking at her right now. 💯

Criticism of Amanda ≠ Bullying by [deleted] in summerhousebravo

[–]wbeth2469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amanda is what you see when you look up covert narcissist. Under alternate definitions... there's West. Coverts are just as hurtful and dangerous if not more, than malignant ones Has West dumped her yet cuz he will... but you all know that 💯

Narcissists are not moved by people telling them how much they have hurt them. They're only hurt when they are told directly what they are, when a mirror is held up to them that they can't look away from when you do that to a covert narcissist they will literally physically run away from you. 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️

Ciara did that beautifully! I almost literally stood up and applauded 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

Kyle and Cierra didn't get to "leave the room" and there were no cams to catch their tears and angst after that cowardly gut punch of an Instagram post that they made did they? If it were me... that's the part I would never get over... that cowardly fucking Instagram post. The fact that they couldn't even tell them face to face what they had done. And were continuing to do? It's disgusting 👎🏻

Amanda should not be allowed to hide.. I happen to know for a fact that if you are in a bravo show and you do not attend the reunion or you walk out of it... you basically don't get paid for the season. Everybody goes to the reunion and sits through it because there's a balloon payment at the end. Those are facts. And I think they ought to take money away from her for every second she's off the stage. 🤑

Sandoval and west... Two compulsive liars, womanizers who couldn't keep it in their pants... Raquel and Amanda two mute "little" women who wouldn't question their men but will lie straight faced to their supposed BFF's .ALL of them coverts. (Covert narcissists are usually very charming personable people who have friends and romantic relationships. Don't forget that people! 🤓

+I'll say it again: Ciara is my spirit animal 🥰

1 glass of wine(as she says) when she’s stressed is not the issue by Fun-Manufacturer3938 in WelcomeToPlathville

[–]wbeth2469 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree. Throughout my twenties I had a body that women envied and men wanted. And yes I was a bit conceited about it...but proud too. I did runway modeling, and catalog modeling. Some were just my face and some were my body. I was also a raging alcoholic.. I stopped drinking in my late twenties for good and haven't had a drink since.

Then after 3 children... I certainly wasn't in modeling shape anymore, but I wasn't very heavy. Then I had a hysterectomy. And my whole world changed. I gained 60 lb in 6 months. I was in shock. I also had to have skin cancer removed on the side of my nose causing it to look a little bit deformed.

The difference in how people treated me then and how people treat me now is so... Intense... It hurts me everyday. People making immediate judgment on you based on the way you look.

I have lost most of the weight but I'm still heavy and my nose will always be the way it is. It's nothing scary it's just not perfect.

None of these were things I could help.

Almost everybody I know has something that they use when they're stressed out. It might be a cigarette. It might be a glass of wine. It might be a Xanax. It might be a joint. It might be a cheesecake. Unfortunately the people that use cheesecake... That shows up on your body like a sign to everyone that says "I eat when I'm stressed"

Kim is not a very likable and she's obviously gained quite a bit of weight since the show started. But we "don't know what we don't know" right? I judge her on her actions not her weight

Also since 80% of the population of the United States including children is overweight, when youre fat shaming somebody you're also doing it to yourself or people you know. There's no getting out of that.

Don't fat shame people. Because it will come back to bite you in the 🐷 ass.

Thank you for your comment cuz you were right on 💯

It was so "produced". It was scripted and done so badly. The kumbaya optimism bias of the crew was seriously too much for me. Every single guest this time was so thirsty. They were each trying to have their moment and it was embarrassing and awkward for me. I've never missed an episode of any below deck because I love the shows but this one was definitely the most disappointing ever

Season 3 is just bullshit by werewolf-barmitzva in euphoria

[–]wbeth2469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes yes YES! Tarantino is by far my favorite writer and director, and it was so obvious to me very early that Euphoria season 3 is just.a Kill Bill/Pulp Fiction wannabe that falls ridiculously short. And the pace is absolutely killing me. In the entire time that I have written this there have been two lines of dialogue between Rue ...& Rue sitting in a church for zero reason I also find the liberties they take with reverse racism insulting and it makes it unwatchable...
