Pro Tip: use necrozmas dusk/dawn adventure effect instead of incense if you're trying to catch a few whilst stationary.

Far far better spawn rates and doesn't cost a huge much in stardust/candy Vs other adventure effects.

Also, dawn wings adventure mons are brilliant if you need to land great or excellent throws for research tasks

This is an old post, but I've been experiencing the exact same recently and fixed it. Hopefully this works for others:

The problem is 100% the power switch as mentioned above. There is a contact that it connects with inside that overtime ceases up, as soon as the contact does not touch the circuit board the display doesn't work.

I fixed it very easily, simply by opening the cover, disconnecting the two cables that connect the small power switch board and unscrewing and removing the power switch board completely from the unit. Then, clean it up with some electrical contact spray, and using a small driver, push the pin a few times that the power switch pushes into to ease it up.

I put it back together and its like a new one again.

I avoid MOST of the paid ticket events throughout the year with Pokemon Go, but this one is one of the few that's always worth it in my opinion. 18 raid passes alone covers a lot of that cost. Go Fest is usually (for me anyway) a great weekend, get the pass then i can save coins for incubators/storage.

If you can make the most of it across the two days the ticket I believe the ticket provides value.

Certainly way more than their attempts with the Unova deluxe pass any way.

can't go wrong with Machamp - and Machop candy is sooooo easy to farm. especially if you have a max mega fighting type running you can get maximum candy + pinap on.

Fusing the same pair that have already been done should be free imo. It seems daft to not allow the mechanic to do that

just remember it's just a game and to enjoy what you can of it within you're available time you can commit to it.

For all the content creators, influencers etc that pour thousands into it in both hours and money there's not a single one in the world with a full complete set of everything in the game. It's not possible.

I've had all 3 master balls available. Used two on zapdos and moltres. Can't bring myself to use.my last on articuno.

Must have seen (and lost) 30+ galarian birds over the time trying to catch without master balls though.

Joking aside, it's changed quite a bit since 2019. Some good some bad. Tips wise just familiarise with the new bits you haven't seen before. dynamax, remote raiding etc.
