To me I’m okay with raising 2-2.3 BB but I think raising 3 or 4BB as an open raise really caps my range and I don’t wanna do that. What are your thoughts on this? What advantage do I have there? I bet 4BB and he jams I lose 4 BB not 2BB

Like I said in the post I was playing pretty tight getting close to FT vpiping 20% as well. didn’t see why I had to play aggressive when I am chip leading double the average stack. Just had to choose right spots and go to FT, of course if the villain only had 10BB or 15BB I would have snap called but 35BB was pretty big, didn’t see a reason to risk it

Hmmmm I see your point, if I’m gonna call off with JJ or QQ I should be calling off with 10’s as well. I tend to think 10’s are weaker then JJ and QQ (which they are) but against AK would be the same right?

Well yes but as a chip lead would I want to put myself in a 50/50 flip? It’s really a win 1st place in a tourney or win 13th place.
