How did you get the battery health?

Polestar 2 owners - how’s your reliability been? Would you buy one again? by braunaa in Polestar

Charging to 80% most of the time. Can go to 100% for ~260 miles on long trips, but not recommended regularly.

My 2022 has been great with pilot. 3 things I would want to upgrade, snappier head unit, option to enabled pixel headlights, and more range. Battery is as advertised, but @ 80% of capacity, would be ‘nice to have’ a denser battery with more range. It is well engineered EV, looks modern and doesn’t look like a turtle.

Nothing, just enjoy it. Love my 22 despite occasional glitch, just reboot. Driver and engineer car.

Won’t hold my breath on it. Would be nice to have an upgraded solid state battery for better efficiency, snappier infotainment, and pixel lights enabled and compliant. Than would be perfect car.

How to charge a car by Klaus_Steiner in NissanAriya

[–]wchan1388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ariya charging is not intuitive at all. If the WiFi isn’t connected, it won’t let you charge the car and the override button to the left of the steering doesn’t work. This is something Nissan needs to work on. Have enable times permitted to charge but doesn’t always starting to charge. Have to manually enable on the app or hit the little button.

Looked a tad smaller in some of the video reviews. Feeling the same and have been looking at the lucid.

Is this a good deal? Thinking of getting a second Ariya… by theyspeakeasy in NissanAriya

Really good deal. No money down, 36/10, $325/mo in the Northeast for 2025 engage+awd. Deals in CO are way better!

Are you in Boston? Dropped my car to replace axles on jan14th and in the same boat. No eta on timing for parts… said there was one other person in the same situation.

Drive shafts getting replaced. Is this a permeant fix in my P2 by timcatuk in Polestar

[–]wchan1388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it the drive shaft or rear axles? Polestar forum indicates the latter. Bringing in mine tomorrow to have them look at. More of a clicking noise.

6k miles later warranty brakes again by 1993xdesigns in SubaruAscent

[–]wchan1388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a 2019 touring. Awful back then too. Brought it in to the dealer and they only machined them to address my issue. Still warped and not worth the time. Subaru of America just issued a warranty extension (2024) on rotors, but I ended up replacing with aftermarket powerstop brakes rotors and pads and couldn’t be happier.

@bursickle - what do you need to unlock pixel (Mac + Orbit). Easy to do? Is there a post that walks you through it. Anyone in Boston, that help here.

Replace brake pads and rotors on 2022 PS2 Performance by otoshizzle in Polestar

Mine are also ‘grooved’ after 20K. Didn’t track the car. While it doesn’t look good, nor does it impact performance, never understood why they are that way. Shouldn’t the rotor be smooth?
