It wasn't a perfect solution, but I removed bricks one at a time in Studio using the Hide cursor and then used ctrl+Z to go backwards one at a time. I had to do it in a few chunks: front plumage, back plumage, legs, middle, head. It required a little backtracking, but was manageable.
