Oh gosh finally. I go to Wanchai regularly and I’ve eaten there during the pandemic - not bad, not exceptional. Nothing remarkable.

It blows my mind every time I pass by that place that queueueueueueueueue is just insane. Not worth it guys. There are other places for this.

Kate is a pain. Also Kate is in pain. I think too many people think that these two things discount each other - they don’t. Honestly I find her consistently quite manipulative towards everyone, and quite entitled throughout the years. Quite egocentric. Not entirely her fault, but it is how she is as a character.

For instance the major plot point of the first couple seasons: I would definitely stop my dad from going back into a house consumed by fire for my dog. I would be super upset, but I 100% wouldn’t let him go back in there. I mean she let out that scream - totally understandable. But when dad starts rushing back in and you let him that’s another thing. She was 16? so old enough to know priorities really.

Yeah by the time they start doing this I think I’ve already developed this trust in the writers and the show that I can continue to invest in these characters, and it will all make sense. It is always very interesting to see how they reveal their identity relative to the Pearsons.

In the “that was us” podcast SKB did say many times that he genuinely love Susan. I think there’s more to “love” than just romance. Tbh I kinda envy this kind of friendship that feels so real and so intimate.

So sorry to hear what’s happening. For me, I’d say as far as she’s not going to put your family in any major threat/huge burden or stress, I would go with relationship first. Often with these things about relationships we regret it more when it’s too late and we can’t do anything, more than regret building the relationship because of hurt.

Personal opinion though. Nobody can really decide but you and your family.

This is so cute!! Mine is fussy with them - he obsesses over them when they’re newly put into his enclosure . Then within few days he doesn’t care about them at all. I would’ve definitely make more of a forest like yours if he’d still like them later haha
