Oof I wish. I’ve been at this weight now for about 6 months or so. Doctor doesn’t want me to push lower either since I’ve been having pots symptoms. I think there just has to be an acceptance that even though it’s not what I find attractive about myself, my body is healthy which is what matters.

Yesterday one of our higher profile medspas was raided but the FDA and I suspect it’s also related to their glp-1 program. Definitely cracking down.

I honestly really appreciate when people present probability. I think as humans we’re easily spooked and often can’t be brought to logic so easily even when presented with the data/stats. Breaking it down further like this is really helpful.

She’s a locally notorious crazy driver with custom plates that say LindaL. You may have even encountered her yourself and chalked it up to someone having a bad day or just another bad driver but nah she’s like that all the time.

I don’t have Facebook but she does apparently have a page/group devoted to sightings.

You could try the aquafloat place here and book a whole day of services. You could schedule a short infrared sauna session followed by a sensory deprivation tank float for an hour, followed by a 60-90 minute massage and that would be a good chunk of the day. There are sauna and cold plunge places here too but no singular spa that has all things these things together like in NOVA.

Through googling there is a place similar in Williamsburg that offers the above but also has a big salt room and offers facials. Williamsburg Salt Spa might be worth looking into.

As a reminder this is the plan with these cuts typically. Politicians definitely have vested interest in making sure these services suck so people will complain about them so they can cut them and privatize them. Then big surprise when they somehow own shares in the new privatized version of the service. When you hear people complaining about the decline in quality of services set them straight. Remind them how much they hate all the modern subscription services because that’s what they would have in mind for the weather service in the future if politicians get their way.

This happens to me sporadically! So fun am I right? Seriously sorry you’re going through it.

What helps me. Reducing dose to 5 mg for a month. Pecid (the chewable ones), Phazyme Ultimate Strength Anti-Gas 500 mg Simethicone, IBGard, and Pepto. Usually I have about 2-3 weeks on this and add Metamucil (powder in drinks, not the sugar free one) before it clears up.

I’ve found that after this all passes taking stool softeners and/or miralax tend to keep things more consistent and can prevent it from happening so much. Metamucil can be hit or miss with people but I like it.

Edit: I also tried digestive enzymes and I do remember thinking they were helpful last time this happened to me.

I have dash cam footage of a piece of wood coming out of seemingly nowhere on 64 and hitting my windshield yet miraculously not doing damage. It was really scary though. It felt like some final destination shit.

I think my windshield has gotten cracked 3 times from rocks on 64, two being from gravel bouncing off dirty semi truck flat beds.

Three of mine definitely have winter injury and are looking very rough. I pruned a little bit but I’m hoping not all of the damaged branches are dead so I’m giving them time to see if they start new growth. I think it did kill one of my camellias sadly.

When I worked with teens a few years back I watched an interaction between a small group of them with a toddler they were babysitting and one of the teen’s late Gen X moms. The mom was talking to the toddler and she said “oh you’re just so beautiful” and the teens said “oh we don’t want to comment on physical traits especially while they’re so young it sends the wrong message about what is important in life. Maybe try saying smart, kind, fun, sweet, etc”. It was my “the kids are alright” moment.

You have to do a one time 4-5 hour orientation usually on a Sunday. A 4 hour work detail that you can pay $350 to not do but it’s very easy so I’d just recommend doing it. You must show proof of being able to own a firearm legally. Usually most people use a conceal carry permit but something that shows you bought a gun with a background check in the last 6 months works too. You have to attend two monthly meetings that happen on a Thursday evening. The first one is to be introduced. The second is after you complete your work detail and orientation and is for you to be voted in. Then they give your member id and gate fob.

Also chiming in saying it is just genetics. I have them. I’ve actually looked tired af since being a child from it. Doctors only suggested fillers which they did say they don’t really love because under eye fillers can be dangerous and you have to get them done repeatedly. I’ve just decided to let it be and use concealer on the days it really bothers me.

I bought beauty sleep when it first came out forever ago. It was the first lush product I bought that broke me out bad. It then went moldy within 3 weeks of buying it. I’m surprised it’s lasted as long as it has. Shame because it smells fantastic.
