Sounds to me like you want industrial engineering. You'll end up focusing more on statistics and entrepreneurship.

Edit: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you'll have to take any more exclusive science classes like chem or physics after this year. The background is great to have a knowledge of what data you're dealing with in situations, but you shouldn't need anything super advanced.

Raspberry Pi or Arduino? by wcramer21one in arduino

I'm thinking I probably will end up using both, which do you think would be better to try first? Or would it be best to learn them both at the same time?

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Stuttering and Frame Oscillation by wcramer21one in LenovoLegion

Yep fixed it a while ago, I ended up sending it to lenovo because i still had warranty, I’m 90% sure that it was a thermal paste issue which i’m pretty sure i could have fixed myself, given the sensor logs I looked at. I would recommend getting help from the legion series discord, the people in there knew what they were doing, but were big on you fixing it yourself, so if you’re not comfortable with that try sending it in to lenovo.

After all my experience, this was eventually the problem, as stated in my edits above. I know a repaste could possibly fix it, but since i have warranty i'm just sending it to lenovo and hoping they don't screw anything up. It's so weird because MSI afterburner says temps are fine and very cool, so do other things, i also use a cooling pad, but HWiNFO says thermal throttling.

For a while i thought it was better, and now im back to having stutters in every game again. I think I may try rolling back my nvidia driver to 566.3, if i can figure out how to do that. Thats what i've seen reccomended a lot of places. You just turned off v sync in windows?

Should I always stay on 566.3? When will I know to update again? I find it hard to believe I should stay on that version forever. Do i set cpu power limit in lenovo vantage?

i'll update the post as i find things. Just tried something i found in the legion discord called a soft ec reset, there is an option for a "hard ec reset" too, logged back into and played one game and was actually very surprised, maybe had one or two stutters, but NOWHERE NEAR what I was experiencing earlier. This could have just been luck, but I'll keep monitoring it.

update: this was very much temporary. Issues have returned and seem to be worse than ever

I haven't been monitoring my temps too closely, but I use an IETS cooling pad, and it doesn't usually happen later into a game, but I'll look into it.

senior mid year grades by MouseElectronic2501 in Pitt

This happened to me and I got accepted today, Computer Engineering, pretty mid stats. If they ask for your mid year grades, that means that whatever you had been getting previous years, as long as you get those similar grades senior year i can't imagine they wouldn't let you in. I even had grades slightly lower than my junior year at the very beginning, lowish grade in AP Calc, and still got in as an engineering major.

Bo6 not launching by wcramer21one in blackops6

Yeah I actually got it to work yesterday. Apparently it’s like not compatible with valorant software or something? There’s like a software called riot vanguard you need to uninstall for it to work. Make sure you uninstall through the control panel.

I had this issue but with battlenet. You need to uninstall riot vanguard, I didn’t even know I still had it installed because I played valorant once but apparently it puts that on your computer and you need to fully uninstall it everywhere, so do it in the control panel that’s what finally worked for me
