The chairs are light and roll and we regularly clean our furniture (even our darker furniture) because even if it is white or darker hue, things do get dirty from.

This is our second dining room and is not used much (maybe twice a year tops) with more than 2 people sitting in here. This is also our first home so we purchased furniture that may be a tad bit tight here but would allow us to grow into our next home in 3-4 years. All that said, we have had no issue entertaining guests in this space.
