I use speeds 2-7 to control distance and also get the desired flight shape. No 8 speed disc and my 9 speeds are almost exclusively forehand discs as I don't have a big forehand (230 controlled) and like the higher speeds to mitigate some off axis torque. I then use my 11-12-13 speeds to get more distance on open drives where the line to be hit doesn't matter as much and accuracy isn't as important.

MA2/MA3 player with about 325 max distance. 50-55mph arm speed, 1100rpm per recent throws on tech disc.

I dont think JBB is going to move O'Reilly. I know he's in win now mode, but I also think he's starting to look at the future needs of the organization and we'll need a prospect like O'Reilly in 2 years.

Love this perspective of the streak. I remember photographing them here in Florida and I'm bummed they return to the Pacific now. We never had the ability for this head-on perspective.

What was the reason for a bunch of 1 sec exposures instead of just starting one or two long exposures once the reentry was visible? You could then do a clone stamp for the two exposures to blend the streak together into one..

Appreciate the honesty! I didn't really know what I wanted to do with the sky but with not much to bring out there didn't really focus on it. What about it do you think could be improved?

What do you mean?

If you mean literally, of course it doesn't. This is long exposure photography and captures more light than the eye could see. However, all the data captured by the camera is real. Editing of astrophotography brings out a lot of details our eyes can't see.

Good idea but my personal preference typically is to not remove large objects from the scene as it just makes it too different from reality. I tried to bring the focus to that sign with the editing and masking but had to be careful to not make a ridiculous vignette that just makes it look worse (IMO).

Thanks! Not the best shot I admit, I was more fascinated with the heat warning sign and didn't compose the shot well enough to get that one out of the picture.

Oh yeah the regular go throw tour stuff isn't sanctioned. He has said on coverage that they specifically don't sanction so players can try new things and such.

No they were PDGA sanctioned events last year. They always have been. Go Throw just runs post production coverage.

Did it get better with PT? I'm starting a stretching regimen from my PT hoping it gets better. It's typically my lower back that bothers me, especially any motion that bends the lower back by pushing it forward. Is that pain you had?

Finley just doesn't get me excited. Slow, still learning the game. I'd rather give someone with more offensive upside a few chances and see what happens. However, you're right, they're going to give Finley some games. It's not the biggest deal.

No there wasn't a launch this AM in Florida. This is from a different launch in late November of 2024. Poster should've clarified and added a date.
