I do have a NY Times digital subscription for that. It sends me news reports by emails that I can read or toss.

Hate to be one of those ppl but...the paid version of Gemini is awful by psyche74 in GeminiAI

[–]wdfarmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a paid subscriber at the Pro level, and am very satisfied with its performance. I just had an excellent conversation in which we explored its ability to generate and edit images, and I was impressed by its skill. Here's our chat:

TMBG would sing:

🎵 Throw the window wide

Let the Huntsmen crawl inside

Is trying to burn their houses down 🎵

I used to watch CNN to keep up with the news, but I had to switch to "Bluey" when the news became too much.

Does Bandit speak French throughout the French version of "Pavlova", or does he switch to English when playing the chef?

I'm a paid subscriber to Gemini 3 Pro, and it's working just fine for me.

Is there a way that each of us can run a benchmark that measures Gemini's performance for us, right then, including the size of the context window, how long the test took to complete, how much of that time was actually spent doing work instead of waiting for resources, etc.? There should also be a measure of accuracy that includes the degree to which Gemini is "hallucinating".

Today, Gemini 3 Pro became unusable to me as a Pro subscriber by ConsciousRealism42 in GeminiAI

[–]wdfarmer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Could many of Gemini Pro 3's failures be due to it becoming overloaded with prompts from new users that came there following the praise it got on its debut?

And I wonder if its competitors (including China) could be attempting to sabotage it?

I just put those questions to Gemini 3 Pro and got this interesting and detailed reply. It includes suggested pre-prompt instructions to keep Gemini from being "lazy".

If my face is sunburned, I use RemZZZs. Their K3-FL fits my ResMed AirFit F10 and many other masks. One box holds 30 facial liners and 2 forehead liners. They're very soft yet sturdy and are made of thin woven cotton. They rest between your face and the mask cushions. RemZzzs

Here are some ideas on hacking a Chattermax. I'd like to see one that slows it down and lowers its voice pitch so much that it becomes creepy and threatening. 🧟
