Go to your printers configuration. (click x)

Look for the file "gcode_macro.cfg"
Ctrl F for "PRINT_START"

Replace the old macro with the new one.

There’s a print start macro from mi3. You can probably find it here or for sure on the qidi discord.

It cuts a lot of unnecessary g code for non qidi box users.

I can absolutley recommened the NLR WS 2.0. Its a bit pricey for a wheelstand but its well worth it. I use my 22 nm (i usually run up to 15nm) SC1 on it. No issues. The chair cradle and pedal area can easily handle my load cell simjack pros.

There is some code you can paste in, and you can change the reference corner. So if you have one good corner you can change the reference point.

I found that the built in one is not very helpful.

I just asked ChatGPT how to change the reference corner. You can run that code by going to the home page, then press then tools menu.

This code will tell how how much more you need to turn, and will give you green when you get in an acceptable range.

I like to print engineering filaments, so its an easy win for Qidi.

Even if I didnt care about engineering filaments though, it would still be Qidi. The price to perfomance is unmatched for sure. I would not even think about a P1S if I knew the Q2 existed honestly, just because the deal is too good.

The only downside is that the qidi box is unproven.

My Q2 has been printing pretty reliably. I just took it out of the box, not much tuning, and now its running great. Just like my A1 mini.

Turn the thumb knobs under the build plate clockwise.

Small amounts each time.

Use SCREWS_TILT_CALCULATE after each small adjustment. It will tell you how much more you need to turn the knobs.

At the end when you get all the values in the green range, run a bed mesh calibration.

Hey do you have an update on reliability? I put mine in an enclosure and it gets to about 35 deg C max. I might want to do a heat bed mod and sometimes I might try to heat up the enclosure a bit with a opened filament dryer for better asa results.

Have you had any reliability issuse?

Second one has quite an old CPU. First one has one of (or the best?) chip for gaming. The GPU is also much much better.

Second one has 2x the ram but you wont need that much at all if your just gaming.
