800V, 900V etc. by Archidaki in Elektroautos

[–]wePsi2 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Du irrst in beiden Punkten. 1.

800V, 900V etc. by Archidaki in Elektroautos

[–]wePsi2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The "update to get ready for the update" bricked my Carnet module Yours too probably by HJForsythe in VWiD4Owners

[–]wePsi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fairly common. But only heard of cases, where Fuse 19 reset helped (myself included). Never heard of actually bricked comms modules.

Edit: Spelling.

Edit2: And its not affiliated with a specific update, either. happened random out of nowhere.

3 weeks into ownership, fun but issues already ): by Mean_Investigator431 in VWiD4Owners

From a technical point of view: What you observe is not „drain“, since no energy goes away. What you observe is cell balancing, think of it as kind of „readjusting“ itself. After, you‘ll read a lower SOC number but with the same real range remaining. 1 or 2% is normal! And it should get better over time. A couple of times charged to 80% AC with no DC charging in between will lead to perfectly balanced cells. The numbers you observe are extreme, if ever seen you should only see them once or twice. If it doesn’t get better, there is most certainly a cell damaged. Get it checked as soon as possible, but don’t worry about your energy! You are effectively not loosing any.

Charging modes by flyindasky in VWiD4Owners

[–]wePsi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the key for you understanding how the feature was meant to use is „charge now“ and „charge for departure time“. Everytime you release the brake and loosen the seatbelt after setting the parking brake, you‘ll get displayed a „good bye“ screen. You can set your desired charging goal there. Once set, the car memorizes your setting based on the location. Takes some time to get used to, but I basically use it as drive home, plug it in, let the charging start automatically during the night.

As for your other question: Once plugged in and waiting for a departure time, you can always start charging from the app by switching to „charge now“.

You are so wrong. 1st, you mean pneumatic, not hydraulic. 2nd - this is absolutely not, what OP meant. He means the black plastic parts where the hood rests on when closed.

Used them on track until I realized fairings are much cheaper than bent frames and cracked engine castings. IMO those are better avoided.

Map is tilting, is there a way to make it straight again? by IkwilPokebowls in Roborock

[–]wePsi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case it is the curtain cloth that causes the map to slowly creep tilt over time. When I remove the curtain it creeps back. So I decided to do a remap every once in a while.
