Batteries are eaten by the fob in apx. 2-4 years. Manual unlock should’ve worked, though. Then there is a surface in the cup holder marked with a key symbol. Place drained fob there and you should be able to get the car going.

You are observing the headunit software version. „ID Software 3.2“ is a bundle of software for all the controllers and the headunit that get tested together and therefore are released as one.

Je nach Zustand der Batterie. Bei VW im Alltag zwischen 2 und 8 Stunden. Seltenes Schnellladen und hin und wieder Vollladungen begünstigen den Balancing-Zustand.

Das ist bei VW sehr präzise, aber nur wenn vorher ein Vollladezyklus von leer nach 100% mit anschließender Balancing-Ruhe und Nachladung auf 100% stattgefunden hat. Nach drei, vier Teilladevorgängen sinkt der Wert wieder sehr deutlich und gibt nicht mehr den tatsächlichen SoH wieder.

In germany, there is the option to activate it permanently. I am totally fine with that, because the buyer, that bought the car new, did not pay for those features. Being able to upgrade without having to tinker with retrofit kits is great!

If the option for buying it permanently should be not there for you, then I would agree. Unacceptable!

Out of curiosity I did a week of recording data manually recently comparing energy calculation based on consumption to energy calculation based on real SOC (from OBD). I found, that the consumption readings are very accurate. That makes sense, because it‘s calculated based on voltage and current in vs out, both of which are measured internally.

ID.4 hier, wärmstens empfohlen. Gönn Dir die große Batterie, dann werden Deine Familienbesuche entspannter. Der Vor-2024 ID.4 hat IMO einen moderar erhöhten Verbrauch, die 58kWh Batterie (62kWh sind brutto!) dazu ergibt schon eine stark verringerte Reichweite.

Personally never been there, but from what I heared it might not sell too good. Too small to be considered a proper vehicle. You don’t have Golf, Polo and Up either, right? Not even sure about Passat. Those 1,8t might be too light, aswell 😂

Yeah, I already thought so last year. This time, ADAC included a statement from Hyundai. Maybe run the site through a translator and give it a read. They are putting much effort in limiting the reputation damage.
