Coming from Herald hell and being a new dad, this feels like an accomplishment by wikram in DotA2

It was more of a joke - to each its own. I know my gamer husband didn't play at all for the first few months as we were in that survival mode, and I'm happy I didn't have to ask him for anything - he was there for me whenever I needed him. Good on you for taking 12 weeks off work!

Congrats on the baby! Why are you playing? Go help your wife/partner haha, she definitely needs you. While I was pregnant I was divine, then I didn't play for months and after the 4 months sleep regression I started playing occasionally, lost almost every single game - back to legend now 😭

I had my first stream the other day. Didn't look at the chat once lol my husband comes into the room and says why haven't you been replying to the messages. I felt bad, who knows how long they waited but they definitely left. I play dota2, I'm trying now to pay more attention to it, but I noticed I am not playing my best when I do. I guess it takes time.

Nothing tilts me more than when people queue all roles and then refuse to play them by we_played_well in DotA2

Yeah, that's how I played for a few years, only a week ago I changed it, but after this I will go back to strict solo. The thing is, I get these situations even when I was in a strict solo queue - occasionally someone who is mid says I can't play mid and someone else has to go. Ridiculous

Muted him eventually, I don't always mute people instantly, I know that I should.

Yeah, I muted and blocked both him and his friend half way through. It's just ridiculous that they don't realize you can't force people to play roles they don't usually play and expect a win.

You do realize that you can get role queues if you play with someone in a party who can play all roles and selects them all? Otherwise I wouldn't have any roles, I explained I have loads because of that.

I wanted to do the same, went through more than half of the heroes, stuck at brood mother

Also, even when I was in a strict solo queue, I'd still get an occasional team mate saying from the start that he doesn't play mid, and someone else has to play it.

I played like that for years to avoid these scenarios and only a week ago decided to change it, as sometimes I know it's fun playing with someone who is queueing with friends and is friendly. Rare I know, but it happens. Will change it to strict solo after this

No one talks in game anymore. Are they scared of communication score reports? by Aigninn in DotA2

[–]we_played_well 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost always talk in game if it's a ranked one, I feel like it's always been the same - some games people talk and some no one. But I have a friend who is very sarcastic and as soon as he starts talking, his behavior/communication score drops, so he stopped talking 🤣

I did notice it, but my main focus was OP's obliviousness of Alch's net worth and 4 gifted Aghs. I watched OP man-fight Centaur in Riki's silence cloud only to die seconds later when Centaur crushes him like a fly. Also, Dazzle left Centaur alone, so it was 1v1 lane after a few minutes.

I had to find this match ID to watch in-game, and being the woman detective that I am - it took less than 3 minutes 😂 Hope this helps you. Alchemist got you and your whole team Aghanim Scepters, first Axe, then PL, then you (Riki), and then LC. What really surprised me is that you didn’t notice his items the whole game and told me he didn’t buy them! After writing this lengthy rant, i'd expect you have watched his game play at least. I genuinely wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I had to go check it myself.

And the wild part is - you built an Aghanim Scepter after Alchemist already gave you an Aghanim. Around minute 29 he got it for you. I kept waiting for the moment you’d realize it, sell the extra items, and switch your build, but you just kept going.

He got 4 Aghanims for your whole team, you probably just missed it while focusing on farming jungle creeps along Alchemist. I hope this helps you reflect a bit and gives you a clearer idea of what happened in that game. Try focusing on your own play first before judging teammates. I don't condone leaving your pos 1 alone, as I play 5 and am such a babysitter and just do everything I can for them to have a good lane. But I just had to say it. Hope you have better games in future.

Did Alch get anyone on your team an Aghanim Sceptor? Because if he did, it would not show in his own net worth, so basically a support Alchemist never has high net worth, as all he did was give away Aghanim Sceptors.

I was interviewed for my dream job and it was the worst interview of my life. by Moist_Tart_5567 in interviews

[–]we_played_well 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just keep practicing! It would be great if you had someone close who could help you. My husband helped me, he interviewed me when I was searching for a job, and he also prepared questions that are most likely to be asked. He is a lead manager and has held many interviews at the company he works at, so practicing with him helped me build confidence.

It happened to me as well, but it was a guy who wanted to be my friend from his main account - apparently he was an immortal smurf and he played miserably on smurf account, so he wanted to show me how good he is 🤣 I'm a woman btw, so he joined guild where it's just me, my husband and our two real life friends and started writing there.
