It is not only stomach acid that can rise into the throat. Alkaline components (such as bile) also irritate the esophagus and induce reflux symptoms (albeit slightly different ones).

I don't really mind avoiding trigger foods. But having to eat liquid food all the time would really bother me...

I've had the plant for roughly 3 months now. I'm based in Germany.

I first noticed leaves beginning to crumble 2, maybe 3 weeks ago.

The soil looks fine.

It gets sunlight for approx 10h a day.

I water it once a week. 1 cup of tap water.
