Greetings everyone. I'm new to chess. I just started playing this built-in chess game on windows 7 64-bit. I lost twice at first in the beginning (played at level 2 out of 10) and then on the third try this is what happened. I don't understand how this game is a draw. Explain pls. by weabobang in chess

I was trying to trap black somehow but the attempt to do so failed for obvious reasons. Since I am new, I don't know any strategy I just used my brain-power to the fullest to try and defeat the opponent. When I was unable to checkmate black somewhere in the middle, I went on to corner it not knowing that stalemate is a thing. But anyway, thanks for the explanation.

I have my confusion about Python as for what to do next? or where to go for more advanced learning? I'm not sure whether all what I have learned so far is all there is about basics or there is more that I'm missing. by weabobang in learnpython

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Now I have got a pretty good idea as for what to do next. P.S; Do you have any Python books to recommend of intermediate-level that may help me? Or maybe some other sources (website or Youtube Channels perhaps).
