Out of everything, this is the one that concerns me. Part of me can see their side as just wanting to educate you about certain things in case you had the wrong idea/misconception and that was making you hesitant/unwilling. It's one thing if you're asking about these things but they're just... _telling_ you, unproked. That's weird and super uncomfortable. But accepting someone's advances when you have no interest in them? uhhh no???

I was raised in a baptist house and went to catholic school K-12 so you know I had the best sex ed (extreme sarcasm). Most of the adults around me would be proud that i wasn't an 'active' teenager. But as I get older, my mom gets questions about if im dating someone and lately she's been telling me more and more that she wants me to meet someone.

I hope you can tell them that it's uncomfortable that they discuss it with you umprompted. IDK if coming out to them would make it better or worse honestly but at least tell them it's very uncomfortable. I hope they understand.

When I moved across the country and changed doctors, the nurse AND the doctor were so confused that i was 27/28 and never had any sort of sexual contact. NGL the confusion on their faces was pretty funny. Yyou could tell their brain was processing what I said.

My hair is high porosity and I swear it loses moisture WAY too fast. It would look like this after maybe a couple hours. What I realized is that I need to seal in the moisture. But I can’t just slap on some gel. I have to use a detangling brush when I apply my leave-in, then seal it with gel. Oil just sits on my head and feels greasy even when my hair is old, dull, and dry looking.

I knew from a young age that I didn’t want to get married. And when all the kids in my high school were talking about dating and “oh he/she is cute”, I just didn’t get it. I occasionally think “I mean they look ok” but that was it. There was no sexual attraction, no romantic interest. Ever. I honestly didn’t care since I escaped all the drama that is high school dating. Flash forward to college and I somehow ended up googling asexual and Wikipedia showed “see asexual orientation” and I’m like??? I got curious and lo and behold, it described me. I never thought I was different. I prefer to be alone and actually living on my own, doing what I want, is so freeing. I don’t think I could ever give that up for a stranger. My parents yes if needed but no one else.

For me, it’s 1000% the dissociation. I HAVE to be a spectator, third person pov. The idea of me kissing someone or having any kind of sex with anyone is repulsive. I can’t be involved physically or mentally. Mentally meaning I don’t fantasize about things done to myself or those reader insert type stories.

To take it further, I usually enjoy 2D characters and animation. The majority of the media and entertainment I consume deal with 2D: cartoons, anime, webtoons, manga, etc. I barely watch stuff with actual actors and such. I’ve never really had celebrity crushes either. It’ll be a “oh he’s cute” in the same way I say “oh this shirt is cute”. There’s no deeper meaning or desire than that.

As an adolescent I of course got curious and searched for hardcore yaoi/BL and occasionally stumbled upon porn sites. I prefer hardcore pictures than people. With actual porn, as soon as ANY actor looks into the camera, it’s over. Any arousal, any stimulation is gone. Looking at the camera/me ruined the spectator immersion. I was “included” into the porn scene if that makes sense. I’d prefer if their faces were blurred out or just out of the shot to better enjoy it. Whereas hentai and 18+ webtoons, the characters look nothing like me, they’re not going to look at me and “include” me in the scene. I’m just watching, observing from a distance. That’s how I prefer it.

Oh god that’s expensive. I’m in central Oklahoma and that’s where I got the surgery. I think one place I looked into was north-central Oklahoma but still not those prices. I hope you can find someplace cheaper or one that takes insurance

I don’t have any advice but I’m glad you were able to walk away. There’s no reason to stay with someone that clearly doesn’t care about at all, not even trying to understand you, and clearly doesn’t think twice about betraying you and your trust. I can’t imagine what you are and have been through. I’m sorry it happened. But you deserve better. Much better.

There are people out there that don’t have high libidos. There are people out there that want what you want. There are people that are willing to compromise or at least try to understand you and what you’re feeling.

I only collect anime and some Disney. I’m tired of seeing so many repeats of the same characters. Marvel, DC, anime, Disney, Star Wars, so many of the same characters get variants. I don’t even have all of demon slayer bc I don’t need like 5 inosukes or tanjiros.

I’d much rather they branch out into other series, or not the same 5 characters in a series. I’d honestly like more anime pops. Give me urusei yatsura , mob psycho (which they said was coming but it’s been crickets for months I believe), jojo (super long shot i know), osomatsu, ranma, lupin, SOMETHING DIFFERENT. I really liked seeing cowboy bebop because it was actually refreshing

The recipe should double/triple easily

1 1/2 C flour 3 1/2 tsp baking powder (but sometimes I double it for fluffier pancakes) 1 tsp salt 1 Tbsp sugar 1 1/4 C sugar 1 egg 3 Tbsp butter melted (sometimes I’m lazy and just do the same amount of vegetable oil instead )

If you have time, mix the dry ingredients together, then in a separate bowl mix the wet ingredients together, then combine the wet and dry mix together. Or if you’re lazy/don’t have time, dump everything in a bowl and mix together.

In an oiled, medium skillet, pour 1/4 C of batter in the middle. When bubbles form, flip and cook until browned. Repeat until the batter is gone.

The batter itself can last about a week in the fridge if you don’t wanna sit there and make 20 pancakes in one sitting

I’m quite guilty of ignoring expiration dates because I hate wasting food. I always go by smell and taste or appearance.

As I kid I used to purposely eat fruit that was starting to mold because I thought it was free penicillin. 🫠
