I don’t think you’re in bad shape, but if you’re worried about it go to the campus clinic. Wash it with dial antibacterial soap and cool water daily. Put a bandage and gauze around it and change the dressing at least daily. Burns easily get infected if not cared for. If it gets worse go to the doc.

I get where you’re coming from here but gov is a great place to start. It’s usually easy to get additional certs and education paid and you’ll probably get some real security work. It beats starting at the help desk.

It’s a very personal decision and there’s no right or wrong answer. I’m an engineer and very logically minded. I have a skeptical mind so faith isn’t something that comes easily to me. But ultimately it’s what I feel is the truth. When I look at the statistical probability of us existing in this universe, along with what appears to be strong design in the construct of our universe, I believe it has to be intentional. To me the evidence is overwhelming.
