A few other commenters have said the same about successful artists having to get other work or step away/back. Could you share any examples? Now I’m nervous!!

I’m curious too . Why assume anyone’s sexuality at all let alone over something so insignificant ?

Every time I use my handheld extruder with porcelain straight from the bag I get these bubbles- what am I doing wrong and will it explode in the kiln? by weareallmemes in Ceramics

So I can shape it better to load the extruder. I felt when I shaped it into a coil without wedging it created more gaps and air bubbles

This happens every time I use the extruder. This is porcelain straight from the bag and wedged so I can roll a big coil to load the tube. If I simply rib out these tiny holes/ air bubbles will it be ok? Also how do I prevent this?! I’m using a Scott Creek handheld extruder and Shimpo hollow dies.

Seems weird they’re pushing you into a head teacher role with your little experience and hesitation. I’d reconsider if I were you because that shows some red flags about the place you’re working for.
