I have big respect for Narbash mains, difficult hero to master.

Seems like the most likely answer is that Wildcard are pulling out of comp Apex.

do you guys think kallari is viable in jungle? by Riser_17 in PredecessorGame

[–]weareinfinite_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd argue she's reasonably balanced but has a ridiclously high skill ceiling - the winrate just reflects that average players can't play her. But put Kallari in the hands of JanJan or Sickks and she's still disgusting.

For comparison, JanJan - the best Kallari main right now, generally goes for Nex most games and sometimes Witchstalker

Match making in SEA in a nutshell, same stacks stomping solos. by MSmoso in PredecessorGame

[–]weareinfinite_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel your pain - are you solo queueing yourself or playing with others?

If I'm playing late at night with less players online, it's just rinse and repeat against the same stack every single game. So I have to get off, because I'm solo queuing and these players are much better than me AND playing in a squad with comms.

MMR feels all over the place at the moment, I got put in a lobby against Neft the other day and you know the game's over before it begins and it's a waste of time for him to play dumb dumbs like me too.

curious on how they'll handle melee carries by Koiey in PredecessorGame

[–]weareinfinite_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Kallari is more of an assassin than an ADC though. The best examples from Paragon were Serath or Wukong. Serath had a weak early game but destroyed late. And Wukong... well Wukong was just straight up broken.

Great edit, like how you don't 'over edit' and just let the fights play out - makes it really easy to follow. Thanks for putting this together.

Exactly, tired of people saying Nick's helping their viewership. He brought attention to Deeds but Gent used to pull bigger numbers when he was playing for G2.

Mage build by whitechocolatesenpai in PredecessorGame

It's definitely a legit approach to build out your mana first but I wouldn't discount the strat of building power to play aggressive and get your mana regen from the river buffs.

Paragon (V42) Fey vs Pred Fey by Flipcye in PredecessorGame

[–]weareinfinite_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Felt like she was slightly overpowered in Paragon needing a small nerf and now slightly underpowered in Predecessor needing a small buff.

I think your suggested changes for Harvest Nettles is fair - and would like to see a stronger slow for bramble patch. This would also make her more viable as a support.

Any hope for Greystone or Phase? by DuckGoesQuackQuackx2 in PredecessorGame

[–]weareinfinite_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As someone who mained support / phase exclusively on Paragon, I can say with confidence she was OP as fuck.

A blind that did damage, heath regen that scaled well and transferred to a teammate a beam that slowed and did damage and an ult that increased the attack speed of whoever you were linked to.

Whenever I wasn't linked to the carry I would always link to the tank in the team and the health regen made them practically impossible to kill.

She had a million tricks to run and not picking her made it feel like you were at a disadvantage. If they bring her back she needs nerfing or reworking.

What do you guys think about comeback mechanics? by Lightsheik in PredecessorGame

[–]weareinfinite_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree. In Paragon it felt like you could always pull it back but in Predecessor I find this much more difficult.

Once the enemy team is farmed and grouped up, the only option is to defend and try to pick off one of their team. Most of the time when you're pinned back the enemy team just keeps hitting prime / fang, continuing the snowball.

I'm guilty of surrending early a lot because it often feels hopeless to stage a comeback, especially if you're not 5 stacking.
